Lyrics for Sarah as interpreted by barneyd

Sarah Lyrics
When you came in my life you changed my world
My Sarah

Everything seemed so right my baby girl
My Sarah

You are all I want to know
You hold my heart so don't let go
You are all I need to live
My love to you I'll give

My Sarah

When you begin to smile you change my style
My Sarah

When I look in your eyes I see my prize
My Sarah

You are all I want to know
You hold my heart so don't let go
You are all I need to live
My love to you I'll give

You are all I want to know
Oh my Sarah

Don't let go oh no
My Sarah

You are all I want to know
You hold my heart so don't let go
You are all I need to live
My love to you I'll always give

You are all I want to know
You hold my heart so don't let go
You are all I want to know
Oh my Sarah

Yes you changed my style with your baby smile
Sarah

Childlike charms keep me warm hold you in my arms
Sarah

Change my world my baby girl
Sarah

All I want to know don't let go
No, no, no, no, no, no
Sarah
Sarah
Be mine

wow! I can't belive that noone has written anything about this song! I was told that this song came about when the writer had a baby girl called Sarah.. I could be wrong, but I like to think this is what the songs about.
This song means a lot to me, the day my parents left me at university my daddy handed me a cd and this was one of the songs on it. He always said that this song reminded him of me, and this is how he felt about me! Man i love that guy!

In my family this has always been my song it was released about a year after i was born. it was an integral part of my childhood we had it on 7" my mum and dad would dance around the living room with me to it right up until my late teens ( i have a strange family). i treasured this single. When my parents split and we moved, it got shattered. my mother found me balling my eyes out clutching the fragments she vow she would replace it. she did it was the best Christmas present ever and i cry even more.
It normally make me cry but i love it, it is part of my identity, it is one of the few thing that make me realise the love that my mum has for me.

I saw Lizzy on 3 occasions in the late 70s/early 80s,each time with a different lead guitarist-Robertson/Moore/White,and always found them thrilling to watch and brilliant to hear, but sadly never saw them perform this gem. What seems strange to me is that although this is quite a slow one (by their standards)is that their fabulous twin-edged guitar sound was never more evident!.Definitely-A POP ROCK CLASSIC!!.
