  General Comment:I love the way Julian sings 'How long must I wait?', there is so much emotion is his voice, it's truly incredible. It just proves how impatient he has become with all the waiting around, it's an emotion I think many can relate to, and because it sounds so real (the emotion in his voice), the song is popular.

  General Comment:well i could be completely wrong, but to me it seems like its all the shit people are telling him. some people are demanding things from him, "sing me a song, tell me a tale." then there are people trying to get him to sell out, "you could be, just like me, happy and free, we could have, great sucsess, such a sucsess, at no expense" then its like all they do is wait for him to sell out, idk just what i felt when i listened to it, and if i felt it it cant be wrong right?

  but this album is amazing. its amazing that the strokes have came out with 3 albums, and even though they changed thier style quite a bit, they still manage to put out 3 AMAZING records.
  
  but back to the song, i dont really listen to the lyrics that much. but i love how this song goes through so many different phases, unlike most songs.
  
  the one thing a dislike is his horrible english in the chorus. couldnt he make "wait" into waiting? it couldnt be that hard...
