    General Comment:its a very fucked up song in my opinion its kinda like if a girls uses you use her back don't be a pussy pretty much but it's a good song very dark but a song that a lot of people can relate too

    General Comment:so i might be totally wrong in this but i'm not thinking this is like "your girl will drain you of life..." i'm thinking its more like its his subconcious or 'second self' telling him (him being slightly off) that he cant pretend to be normal. the subject of the song is a guy who cant hide his inner flood or urge to be nomal becuase he's not he's...like a killer...or rapist...abuser or something of that flavor. so basically he's fighting himself because he's hiding his demons

    sounds like the main character has some problems. great song though.

    General Comment:maybe its a friend that wants to , not necesarily leave the band but get married to a girl but the other frend wnats to party and fuck mindlessly but getting married wont ollow it so hes trying to convunce him not to get married and telling him not to leev his instinc to fuck.

    Memory:i was fucking my cousins girl and we got into this whole love triangle thing... not being vindictive but she was a total trollop... a few other mates hit it as well... and yeah... this song fits that for me...

    General Comment:I see how people think that you could use the girl as a metaphor for religion because it makes sense to when you do that. Personally I think it is about someone saying they love a girl and changing themselves to be with her and the singer doesn't like it. Saything that he is gonna want the stuff he left behind before. I love the second verse cause it's like the singer telling him to do what he did before to other girls.

    P.S. I love songs like this where you can find more then one meaning to it. It makes it hard to figure out which one is right but you can listen to the same song for different reasons and a lot more people listen to the song because it means something to them.

    General Comment:if you read the book head wrote, he talks about how he tried to stay faithful to his girlfriend when he was on the road. other guys in the band were trying to hook him up with groupies and he did slip a few times but stopped short of actual intercourse. this seems to be what these lyrics are about, jonathon is claiming head was denying his natural sexual instincts by trying to stay true to his girlfriend.
