as to what the song is about, it's really hard to say. i was also wondering if the line could be "we've got eyes that LEAD us" but it does sound like leave.

Oh ya the breathing during the "has it brought you closer to this" gives it such a higher dynamic of hotness as you kno, in connection to the title:)

I've had the (clears throat) priveledge of listening to about 4 of their songs. I've concluded that such was a far greater investment of time than needed to come to the conclusion that they all need to cut their prozac's in 1/8ths.

I think that the eyes are our mind's eyes, and we're left in places psychologically, states of mind, ideas, maybe memories of things too and places we have physically been, but which for all we can't physically see
