first comment? this new song of strokes is so diferent of all that they did. the bass line is crazy. when julian sings no no you are so cooooooooooooooolllllllll and enter the the bass look like the batman theme is awesome :)))) i will see they with arcade fire next month :)))))))))

I think the second time it sounds like he says "Waiting for some actress, waiting for some actress to say 'Why won't you come over here?'" But maybe it's just me.

I def agree with hallucinogic, this is WAAAAY different from the usual stroke stuff to me, I wonder if the rest of the album is just as radical

this song is amazing....the whole of the new album is supposed to sound very different but if its as good as this song then i dont care.. this is my new "drive fast" song.
the riff is so un-Strokes-ish but as soon as the chorus kicks in its julian back to his brilliant best.
now im pissed of coz i have to wait for a few months to here the rest of the album.

Talking strictly to fans of The Strokes, more of their newest songs are available for download, my personal favourite would currently be 'Razor Blade'
However! Just remember to buy their album still... Even if you can download ALL their new songs.

I like how the DJ in the video clip talks about how they are not that popular in America compared to Europe. That goes to show how crap most American music. You will never see the Strokes on Billboard award shows – thank god. NY is the most important cultual centre In America. Nu Metal should be dead be now. At the end of the day this song means only one thing – the Strokes are back!

i felt a bit sick when i realised what they probably mean by juicebox. I had a rough idea of what this song was about, but the video is very confusing. what's going on with that?!

I the song's great though, it does sound different. The bassline is kinda batmanish but I thought it was more 50's rock and roll, rockabilly, if you listen to alot of the strokes it is very rockabilly influenced i think, listen to 'someday'.

nikolai does alot crazier and cooler bass lines than this, not a personal attack just informing you that he actually is an incredibly talented bassist. Listen to "Is this it", that has the coolest bass line i have ever heard. And Razor Blade. The bass in that is nuts too. Really cool.
Isn't it weird how no one ever talks about the actual meaning of the song...?

i get the vibe theat the song is about a guy that just sleeps with a prostitute or a lose girl swinger say perhaps from the first lines "Everybody sees me, but it’s not that easy

and also where it says "You never trust me
For a while it was nice but its time to say bye " sounds like a guy just had some pleasure and left while the girl really liked him but he didnt like her.

finally some1 talking about the meaning of the song ~ but yeah, i have not the slightest idea what the song means from the lyrics themself of the video, tho underneeth has a good idea! is it just me or is that 2 guyz kissing n the bathroom stall at the end of the video? the strokes have been my favorite band for years now, yet their lyrics confuse me 2 this day, but thats wut i like about'em!
