Lyrics for Dead Wrong (Demo) as interpreted by TDDx8

Dead Wrong (Demo) Lyrics
If only I knew what I know
I’d make it a point to say so
To everyone who got me here
And everyone who made it clear

I was dead wrong all along
They said it for my sake
That I would not lose my way
When I was astray

I did it as best as I could
Minus the ones I knew would
Probably kill me slowly
I am left with the words if only

I knew I was dead wrong all along
They said it for my sake
That I would not lose my way
When I was dead wrong all along

Mine is not a new story
Mine is not a new story
Mine is nothing new
But it is for me

And so I was dead wrong all along
They said it for my sake
That I would not loose my way.

This is an earlier rendition of Dead Wrong from HTSAL. If your lucky, its still up on the Garage Section on Area93.com. The main differences are some who's are changed to that's and the "probably kill me slowly".

I've this version, yet this is the only site I could find the proper lyrics for it.
Only major difference would be the third stanza ("I did it as best as I could..........I am left with the words if only") and a few words here and there.

I like this version better then the other though.

Also, the first verse's last line was changed to "everyone that made it." And in the chorus, it's now "Clearly I was..." Also, "YOU said it was for my sake". The second stanza, after the chorus, is completely different. It's
"I'm doing the best that I could
Trying my best to be understood
Maybe I'm changing slowly
I'd get out turn around if only I"

Lastly (sorry for picking at it, but these changes are not too subtle for me, who just noticed them), they added "Did I really lose my way
Or are you afraid?"

BrittleWings, "Did I really lose my way, or are you afraid" is on the album version as well, I do believe.
