Hey you, hey you, Devil's little sister
Listening to your Twisted Transistor
Hold it between your legs
Turn it up, turn it up
The wind is coming through
Can't get enough

A lonely life, where no one understands you
But don't give up, because the music do
Music do [x6]

Because the music do
And then it's reaching
Inside you forever preaching
Fuck you too
Your scream's a whisper
Hang on you
Twisted Transistor

Hey you, hey you, finally you get it
The world ain't fair, eat you if you let it
And as your tears fall on
Your breast, your dress
Vibrations coming through
You're in a mess

A lonely life, where no one understands you
But don't give up, because the music do
Music do [x6]

Because the music do
And then it's reaching
Inside you forever preaching
Fuck you too
Your scream's a whisper
Hang on you
Twisted Transistor
Music do [x4]

Hey you, hey you, this won't hurt a bit
This won't hurt a bit, this won't hurt
Says who? Says who?
Anesthetize this bitch
Anesthetize this bitch, anesthetize!
Just let me be
Between you and me don't fit

Music do
And then it's reaching
Inside you forever preaching
Fuck you too
Your scream's a whisper
Hang on you
Twisted Transistor

General Comment:It's been deciphered enough really. Blah blah blah nobody understands you. Blah blah blah life is unfair and music is great. Blah blah blah fuck the cruel world. Perhaps the listener hides behind music. Instead of making music a rounding-out...a supplement, s/he uses it as a crutch. Just maybe it has become a cog in well-greased, hackneyed routine that makes life as easy as possible for the listener. Music no longer challenges the listener. Music is no longer that exciting challenge it should be; rather; it has replaced the voice of the person. S/he gives more credibility to the voices of others than to his/her own. Moderation in life is wonderful. Too much of anything (including music) is not. Music was never meant to be someone's cave. It was not supposed to be someone's voice. It was meant to supplement the human condition and add to the positives or explain the negatives. I am SO fucking tired of the woe-is-me people and the glass half empty types who whine. They are the common denominator. They are the key that opens door. They are the ones who should be taking responsiblity for their choices and actions and OWNING who they are. If they're happy, wonderful. If they're not, than learn mathematics and pick up a damn mirror to see the denominator! And fucking do something about it or shut the fuck up; you're ANNOYING to those of us who accept responsibilty and don't blame others for (pass the tissue please....) not understanding us or accepting us. Boo hoo hoo. Kleenex anyone???

General Comment:This song isnt about sex. People dont understand these things unless theyve gone through a similar situation and ive been through exactly what this song is about, its about how you can drown out your pain with music.
"A lonely life where no one understands you, but dont give up, because the music do"
JD is saying how no matter how misunderstood you are, music while always understand.
Twisted Transistor, meaning messed up radio/messed up music, is about a young girl who's self-hateful and abused verbally and/or physically, and how music comforts her no matter what she goes through, even if shes locked in her room sobbing and completely alone, how the lyrics can make you feel so much less lonely and almost become an addiction. I can relate to and understand this since when i was a young(er) girl (im only 14 atm), i was verbally abused and bullied really badly and was, at one point, suicidal because of it, this song (and some other korn songs) showed me i wasnt alone and helped me pull through. When you get that down, comfort becomes addictive, and you just cant get enough, and when your away from it you almost have withdrawl since no one understands you and wont listen even when you scream.
PS- 'vibrations coming through' doesnt mean she uses a vibrator, music IS vibrations, all sound is, and all the bass in music played loud enough can make you shake and feel the vibrations.

This song was written to preach to the lonely and desperate, and comfort them through their pain. Thanks -JR

General Comment:Devil's little sister! I'm sorry but, I dig this song. It's catchy. Not everything has to be deep and meaningful. Life isn't so serious. I've listened to alot of their music and you know what, this is good too. A lonely life, where no one understands you...!

My Interpretation:Knowing what 90% of Korn's songs are about, i am inclined to assume it is something about sex. However, what i got from this song, and is corroborated by the fact that a lot of people say they dont like the song - since it isnt like their other shit, is that it is about a person who is not well understood by the people in their crowd. They find comfort in music.
The parts with vibrations and between legs clearly are implying something, but i think the song has some deeper meaning, especially when the chorus is "no one understands you, but music do, music do, [...]"
Just a theory, but most likely not to be a popular one.
Thanks for hearing me out though.

General Comment:I think this song is about a junkie who has someone feeding her drugs and lies about life.
She is obviously aware of this and is nervous about the course of action to take, but keeps on with the charade anyway, with music as her only way to vent: her only friend. "Your screams a whisper" obviously means that no one is listening, or that no one cares.

"Hey you, hey you, finally you get it
The world ain't fair, eat you if you let it
And as your tears fall on
    Your breast, your dress
    Vibrations coming through
    You're in a mess

A lonely life, where no one understands you"

Makes me think of a junkie and how they will believe whatever is told to them, because only the devil is there, and he wouldn't think of letting anyone good get to her and show her a way out, a better life, a life where she is loved and understood.

My first boyfriend shot meth. He is the only one who ever told me about it, how it effects you, how to handle the drug and how to respond to family and friends who weren't on it. When he would introduce me to his friends, they obviously were censored and were always quiet around me, never getting too close. He took the time to turn me into his little junk monkey, and I was for a while. The trick to it is to watch the way the person who has you imprisoned (damn near) and when you find the strength to break free, use the same tricks on him that he used on those around you. You cant treat him like he treated you, that will get you nowhere. Simply start running with a new crowd, perhaps rip him off or go behind his back (preferably to an enemy) for support. Tell that enemy everything, and they will not do it to you. If you don't get even, however, you will never find peace.

If you continue in the game, focus solo. Make relationships with people based on interests, not habits. These are the friends who wont do you wrong. And if they ever do, you should know enough by now to remedy that situation.

Sorry, way off topic, but this song makes me think of being brainwashed by a dope man. For every problem there is a remedy, and I'd love for that advice to be made useful.

Song Meaning:You idiots, can you not see that there is nothing sexual about this song? Now go back and read the lyrics.

"Hey you, hey you, Devil's little sister
    Listening to your Twisted Transistor
    Hold it between your legs
Turn it up, turn it up
    The wind is coming through
    Can't get enough"

Your Twisted Transistor, means a RADIO. Transistor was a term used for radio way back when. She's holding onto a radio, and 'Turn it up, turn it up, The wind is coming through' means SOUND, as in music, which travels through the air. Anyone ever turned up your base real loud and felt the vibrations?

A lonely life, where no one understands you
But don't give up, because the music do
    Music do [x6]

The chick is lonely, obviously, and misunderstood, but she feels a sense of understanding in the music, I mean, don't you have songs that just click?

    Because the music do
    And then it's reaching
    Inside you forever preaching
    Fuck you too
    Your scream's a whisper
    Hang on you
    Twisted Transistor

Obviously, the music is deeply affecting her, and the term 'forever preaching', just means that she's always gonna remember it. 'Your scream's a whisper' meaning that even when she screams, no one can hear. Ever had that feeling.

Hey you, hey you, finally you get it
The world ain't fair, eat you if you let it
And as your tears fall on
    Your breast, your dress
    Vibrations coming through
    You're in a mess

In this last area, the song goes on to say that the girl finally understands that the world isn't at all fair, and that if she doesn't hold strong, the world will destroy her, or consume her, hence the term eat. Then she's crying, and the music is vibrating, the sound so loud that she can feel it. And I KNOW all of your have felt that before. So think before you assume what a song means.
