This song is Basically about this guy who likes this girl (or vice versa, etc.) They are or have been friends for a long time...but aren't together eventhough there are feelings from the singer's end and he wants to make it more.

This line is basically him talking to himself about how much he has tried to forget the fact that he has developed REAL feelings for her, because she is a friend and may not know how to approach the situation.

This verse is basically him saying that she has made an Real impression on him, that he feels from time to time...like having an uncontrollable smile or warm and fuzzy feeling whenever a certain thought or memory of her pops into his head.

This is where the warm and fuzzy feeling really comes into play because of the referrence to the days of summer. the rainy monday could just be in ref to a bad day, or a day when he is missing her or hasn't seen her.

This is where he acknowledges the True feelings he has for her, and he solidifies his hopes of being able to tell her just how much he really likes her and the possibility of their relationship evolving into something more.

The part where they say "can easily forget" is basically thinking that person singing thinks that their love interest and them are together, but really they are not. Just a crush or a best friend with 'benefits'. Its the mind set of wanting that person.

Has people ever wonder why its called a rainy monday? Most of all, people HATE mondays. When it rains in mondays, the day just becomes worse. Basically when he is talking about his rainy monday, a bad day, he has this feeling of his love that will never fade. A fulfilling emotion that will come back whenever the day is bad or good. You can tell that he changes "feeling" to "feel it inside me" is that right now he feels that high divine emotion.

This part, this VERY rocky part in his relationship with his love interest made the singer think. Whatever the they did, the singer still hangs onto their hope to be with their love interest. Even though the singer didn't like the things that made the singer hurt as in why "I could forget the way you are" But it won't change their mind because not matter what happens, that feeling is still there.

A bit self explanatory, a bit not. In the first line, its obvious that the singer still has feelings for that person, but the bad thoughts roams in their head whether to stay or go. It's a Rainy Monday, as days go by there is trouble, but its up to the person to decide to make it a bad day or a good day. The singer is struggling of whatever circumstance that his love interest is having; a fight they had, a love triangle, etc.

Far away from his love partner, the feeling of love is still with them no matter what. A contradiction of the song title and the actual lyrics. Like how all a lot of events lead up to a Rainy Monday? or that a Rainy monday is that a bad day, but not as bad as it seems?
If you can listen really carefully at the middle end of the song, You can hear the singer say "I won't let you get away." Meaning that whatever happens between them, whether the love interest goes to someone else or it may not work, the singer will continue to chase that person because they still have strong feelings for that person.

when your in a situation like this you try soooo hard to forget and move on but you cant bring yourself to because you know how much this person means to you and how much they have changed you....it just really makes me think if this boy that i realllly liked for a long time but nothing happened and then something was about to happen and i kinda screwed it up.....
but this song just further proves my theory of how you never truly stop having feelings for someone and how old flames/crushes always work their way back into your life in some way...
This song depicts the struggle within when you can't be with the one you love, even though you want to. A "feeling" is left inside you that does not easily go away. You tell yourself that the best thing is to stay away from that person, and you say "I really wish that I could forget the way you are" and "you don't know how hard I've tried to convince myself that I can easily forget". Yet at the same time, there is a part of you that thinks that you can get her back somehow (hence the "You're someone that ain't mine, but someone that I'll get). You can't quite move on, you don't want to forget her and the memories you shared together, and to make matters worse you think you can get her back...
All of it seams destined to end bad, but there is always hope...
