I think this could be about an abusive realtonship too..
Maybe it's just my personal life interfiring with my thoughts..
but it sure fits
I think there's this sort of hidden thought in it, like even thought they are being hurt, they find some kind of confort or happiness n what is hurting them..
That's my favourite part of the entire song. =)
The person has had enough and is so sick of it that they just want to be alone and they'll work it out by them self. Although in the video at the end, Jacob is holding one of those tags that they put on like people that die at the hospital? I dunno.
This song really means a lot to me cuz i can relate to it.
