It seems to me that this song is about 'scene kids' or 'emo kids' whatever you like to label them, being put down for no reason.

This is saying [obviously] that some people just can't accept that we are all the same, under all the clothes and makeup. And the love and the hate they get from people is ''burning them away'' in other words, breaking them down kind of.

This part sort of confuses me.
I think they're saying they understand how they feel. But at the same time I'm iffy about it. Like maybe they are just making fun and understanding them at the same time? I don't know.

But the whole song is really obvious.
It's just kind of telling people about
what it's like being a 'scene or emo kid'
and people labeling you as one just
because you dress a certain way or
dye your hair or because you have problems
at home and with relationships and whatnot.

be 'scene'
be 'emo'
but just because you are these things, and wear the steriotype clothing you still have a voice, and can still voice your opinions and stuff :)
this is probably pretty obvious.
i just didnt want people to oversee that.

ummmm hollywood undead. there the best thing to ever come out of hollywood. "A Knife Called Lust" This song is about thing that people just dont care about, and then people talking sh** about you. i think that everyone can relate to this song.

If you've heard their song "I Must be Emo" you would see that they are extremely against emo people. unlike many people have been commenting.

This song is about several different things, but at its core its just the struggles of people, whether it be poverty, being homeless, problems at home, a relationship, anything, but in the end "this love this hate, is burning me away".

This song is what got me really into Hollywood Undead. First song I heard by them was My Black Dahlia, and I automatically thought it was stupid. But after I heard Knife Called Lust, and listened to My Black Dahlia again I fucking loved it. Hollywood Undead is the fucking shit, seriously best fucking music when your chilling smoking a bowl, or whenever.
