Bleed Lyrics
I don't bleed you
i just need to see you I would love to turn your vice and make silly twice She isn't dreamy she just needs to see me drowning in the main stream flow and frowning where ever I go So come down little one leave your place in the sun So come down little one leave your place in the sun I come in bleeding stumbling round and needing I love to burn your trash and make a picture with the ash I come storming before your cloud starts forming I would love to cut your hair and leave an empty promise there So come down little one leave your place in the sun So come down little one leave your place in the sun Start your engine but don't forget to mention to your friend that I need work don't reminded her I'm a jerk Inter clowning and join me while I'm downing drink to get some poision herbs curtisy of the Suburbs So come down little one leave your place in the sun come down little one leave your place in the sun come down little one leave your place in the sun come down little one leave your place in the sun come down little one leave your place in the sun |

as for the meaning... he loves a girl who loves him too, but stubbornly refuses to get off her high horse about everything. shes the kind of girl who has a "place in the sun." he simultaneously needs her to be the good one who holds things together ("don't forget to mention/ to your friend that i need work") and wants her to let go of herself ("join me while i'm drowning")
i read that this was about his ex-wife, so maybe all the animosity at the beginning means that their not together anymore... but hes singing these cruel things in the sweetest possible melody, so i think there's some ambivalence
