  General Comment:I absolutely love this song. It makes me feel happy, but mostly sad. Bittersweet, like Pomaceous said. The happy melody and the sad lyrics balance each other out. WoOt for TBLLT!

    Let me try to find a way to answer this without seeming crude. Taking a girls viginity is often referred to as taking her cherry or "popping her cherry". A woman's sexual juices are often referred to as 'peaches' whereas the male's would be 'cream'.

  Yeah, so once I took an otc drug that gave me a panic attack, and I started thinking that the sound of bugs brushing up against the screen of my window was ACTUALLY the sound of an intruder, so this line totally cracked me up.

  General Comment:jof has said in a couple of interview that the song is about his fear of growing old and dying. i thought it was about anxiety disorders at first too, seeing as how i suffer from one and it describes perfectly how i feel a lot of the time.
  
  i agree with lotus 9 completely. i love the balance between the depressing lyrics and the unbelievably sweet melody. the song makes me smile everytime.
  so i can't, for the life of me, stop listening to this song, really. can't believe i got into this band so late.

  i love the video clip for this...with all the little puppet animals playing the glockenspiel.
  personally, i find this song makes me happy. even if the lyrics are slightly depressing.
