(Listen to your heart)
(Listen to your heart)

I know there's something in the wake of your smile
I get a notion from the look in your eyes, yeah
You've built a love but that love falls apart
Your little piece of heaven turns to dark

Listen to your heart
When he's calling for you
Listen to your heart
There's nothing else you can do

I don't know where you're going
And I don't know why
But listen to your heart
Before you tell him goodbye

(Listen to your heart)

(Listen to your heart)

Sometimes you wonder if this fight is worthwhile
The precious moments are all lost in the tide, yeah
They're swept away and nothing is what is seems
The feeling of belonging to your dreams
To your dreams

Listen to your heart
When he's calling for you
Listen to your heart
There's nothing else you can do

I don't know where you're going
And I don't know why
Listen to your heart
Before you tell him goodbye

(Listen to your heart)

ok well this is what you think im not saying that what it means to me is write but this is what i think well..i think she was in a relationship and evrything seemed so perfect..then it all started to change and fall apart and then they decided to leave or something so she wants to elt you know to do what feels right when your leaving some one that you felt you loved..then it seems that "Sometimes you wonder if this fight is worthwhile" liek they're trying to fight to make it work and when they fight they forget all thegood times they had and remember the bad they are trying to make it work because it use to be like perfect and the love they felt ..felt unbreakable "the feeling of belonging to your dreams". and when he's talking to you about breaking up or staying to gether always do what you feel is write and it'll lead you through...and then when she says "And there are voices that want to be heard" i feel that it means that the description of love has changed so much over the years and like some people dont realise the pashion..as in "when love was wilder than the wind" and tehn when it says "but listen to your heart before you tell him goodbye." make sure there wasnt the right love befor you end it...awesome song **** :)

I love this song. Both the techno version and the slower version.

But its about a girl and she is in a great relationship with a guy. But then "that love falls apart" and "Your little piece of heaven turns too dark." her love, and life now sucks because she has to "listen to your heart before you tell him good bye". So basicly, it is perfect love, that love falls apart, and she has to think (listen to her heart) before she tells him good bye.

I believe this song is about a girl who was in a really good relationship. She's saying there's so much about him that makes her happy and she was so in-love, but love sometimes falls apart and it's not all you need. To me, she's telling you to listen to your heart, because no one else can tell you what to feel or what to do and only your heart really knows how you feel. And you should consider that before breaking up with someone and moving on with your life because what if you give up something really good and regret it later?

Also, "Sometimes you wonder if this fight is worthwhile," means that when you're fighting, you're in it and you're so mad and you wonder if that's all there is and how many more times you can go through fighting like this. Is all the fighting worth the good that comes out of the relationship? And the good times are sometimes hidden from the anger and you can't really see things how they are.

"And there are voices that want to be heard. So much to mention But you can't find the words"

Like, I think this part means that when you're in it.. you can't always express what you're feeling into words and you have so much to say but just can't figure out how to say it. What you're feeling is all you can go on but you wish you could express it better.

This song is obvious and if it isn't obvious to others than they can figure it out from the a hundred-word essay that those nerds above just posted. Anyway, I like DHT and techno and dance music too.

the slow version reaches its eerie reverb vocals over piano right into my fragile soul.

    My Opinion

I just wonder has anyone thought of it this way? Cuz this is what I get. When shes saying "sometimes you wonder if this fight is worthwhile, the precious moments are all lost in the tide....." Its like shes saying she's not sure if the relationship is worth all the time and effort she puts into it because all the good times seem to be lost in all the bad memories, like they are "swept away with the tide"

    My Interpretation

i got this song song sooooo diffrently than anyone else . when i heard this song , a guy id talk to many times was trying to work things out with me , i really like him , & want to date him , but i always say no because of a well kinda silly but idk reason . This is what i got out of it.

I know there's something in the wake of your smile. (he makes me smile) I get a notion from the look in your eyes, yeah. ( from his eyes ) You've built a love but that love falls apart. ( we built a love ) Your little piece of heaven turns too dark. (.. )

Listen to your heart ( shes telling ME to listen to MY heart. ) when he's calling for you. ( when hes calling for me ) Listen to your heart there's nothing else you can do. I don't know where you're going ( she doesnt know where im goin) and I don't know why, ( or know why) but listen to your heart (shes telling me to listen to my heart. ) before you tell him goodbye. ( before i tell him goodbye )

Sometimes you wonder if this fight is worthwhile. ( is it worth being with him) The precious moments are all lost in the tide, yeah. They're swept away and nothing is what is seems, ( my memories will think of bad instead of good) the feeling of belonging to your dreams. ( WOOW , this made me be like SAYY WHAT ?! cause i alwayss have crazy dreams about this guy)

Listen to your heart when he's calling for you. Listen to your heart there's nothing else you can do. I don't know where you're going and I don't know why, but listen to your heart before you tell him goodbye.

And there are voices ( he wants to be heard , he wants me to know he loves me) that want to be heard. So much to mention but you can't find the words. ( I NEVER KNOW WHAT TO SAY TO HIM . ) The scent of magic, the beauty that's been when love was wilder than the wind. ( hes so fun . )

I think she is talking to PEOPLE in general when she sings this song . telling them to listen to there heart. crazy thing is , in all of my dreams he rejects me .. idk what to do .

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
