  General Comment:Ok, so today I was at Red Robin, and as i was waiting for my food, i saw these two cute guys walkin past, so i kinda looked. altho one was cuter than the other lol. and my friend who was with me was like "hey, its jacob hoggard" and im like...oh really? And the cuter one was his friend lol.
  
  Anywaiz even though my friend said that jacob is a complete *******, i thought it was kinda cool that i saw a famous person at red robin, right? So im kinda like SWEET cuz i love hedley's music.
  
  AND EVERYONE WHO I'VE TOLD THAT I SAW JACOB HOGGARD WAS LIKE "THAT GUY IS A ******* *******, HE'S SO COCKY, HE THINKS THAT JUST BECAUSE HE'S FAMOUS, HE SHOULD BE TREATED DIFFERENTLY BLABLABLA" and like these are people who have gone face to face with him. So it kinda rained on my parade. Because if your gonna be famous, don't be an *******. Because your FANS are the ones who got you where you were, so stop being a ****** Sheesh. the one time i see a famous person in this hick town, he's gotta be a jerk.
  
  Oh well...Maybe Chad Krueger is nice??
  
  ANYWAIZ i like this song. and i like Hedley. so all you hedley lovers, i'm not bashing them, i think they are CRAZY!!! and yeah this song is nuts. lol

  Ouch! Haha. I actually quite like their old material, before the band (with the new revamped line-up) went mainstream. Lost in The Field Of Flowers Called Empty, Brave New World, Like Me, What Smiles Can't Afford are all powerful songs. Too bad none of them made it onto the record. And what they've done to Gunnin' is just atrocious.
  
  Anyways, back to the topic. The meaning of On My Own...it's actually quite clear - the song is about moving out of your parents' house. >.< In a broader sense, it's about breaking free of whatever is holding you back, and, um, reaching your potential.

  General Comment:I hate this song and this band. I thought they were much better when they were called Billy Talent. Burn! Seriously, I don't like BT either, but Hedley is a complete rip-off of them (At least in this and one other song). He sings and acts just like their lead singer (Again, at least in this song). And I don't mean in a slightly similar Kurt Cobain/Craig Nichols way, I mean exact.
  
  As for great Canadian bands, I don't think they're anywhere near the top of the list. Here are some really good Canadian bands -

    Honestly, I'd have to disagree with you. I don't think that Hedley is a rip-off of Billy Talent. They're totally different bands, with different people that all have different personalities. Yeah, Billy Talent has been around for 11 more years than Hedley, but that doesn't mean anything. Bily Talent's music is alos way more rock than Hedley's is.

  General Comment:HOLY FRICKEN CRAP This song is teh best in the whole world!!! I am like obsessed!! Jacob is the hottest man I have ever seen with very outgoin' personality! Jokes includin' tampons, thongs brakins stuff and urine! Crazy man that is why I love him!! Does anyone have his number or email??

    Have you ever watched their "Try This At Home" DVD? It's friggin hilarious. At one point there's this really intense part going on then they interupt it to show Jacob getting stitches in his hand. XD

  General Comment:I was watching MTV. When i didn't reconise the song, i wanted to change the chanel. But i got hooked on the song so i ended up watching it. Then i took a closer lokk and realized why i loved it so much. Jacob Hoggard! I really wanted him to win canadian idol! But this is way better!
