oh my god... this song is amazing and i am in love with her voice. i love how this song goes from completly sober to almost hardcore in 0 flat.... and the lyrics... about someone who is in love and their lover is their best friend and how she wants them there forever.... and how happy she is... then he is leaving..... she says no.. we can do what you want.... your always there for me.. you save me... but then... 1000 broken hearts ... carried by 1000 broken wings... that is the only part that confuses me. it doesnt matter. i cant stop listening to is.

i think this song is about her realationship with God, not just any relationship.

//Under your stars tonight//
the stars are Gods stars, therefore she is wanting to dance with God, under His stars.

this is about God.

I dunno what Paul says makes sense to me. And maybe the 1000 broken hearts carried by 1000 broken wings could be like....broken hearted christians and then theres other christians(Angels with wings-Or broken wings? You know that friend saying) who help carry the ones who are broken. In that way God is with us everywhere. In the sky or in the pits of the earth.

Why would she think God would leave her? I dont think its just so much him leaving her, its like she is in his presence, and as she continues to be there, she doesnt want him to leave, because its an amazing feeling to be surrounded by God, to feel him all around you. I dunno if that makes any sense to you or not but yea lol

Wow, this song really is amazing.

I never really thought of it being about God when I first heard it, but I can imagine how it can be interpreted that way. I suppose it's a personal opinion, really. I wonder what the intention was when it was written though... hmmmm.

To me, I was thinking of the best friend thing. Like your closest friend who you love and expected to stay forever having to leave. And you want to tell them exactly how you feel before you leave and just kind of... stay in your last moment forever. And then you just pray that you'll always be friends and they'll always remember you.

For the 1000 broken hearts & wings I was thinking of like how broken her heart is to be seperated but how she is still kind of....getting on with life and...continuing to fly, even if her wings are broken. Even though they're apart, he's still underneath, supporting, giving strength to carry on. But that's just me, I doubt that makes any sense lol.

This song is totally about having a relationship with God and anyone who does not think so should listen to the song a little deeper. She doesn't think God is going to leave her when she says

"Thank you for being such a friend to me
Oh I pray a friend for life"

She is just saying that she wants God to be with her constantly. God will never leave you, but you can leave him when you are lost.

"Please don't leave just yet

We can dance together

We'll live and breathe this dream"

She wants to be with God under his stars. She wants to "dance" with him forever and always have God in her life. She is saying that when God is with you, it is as good as living in a dream.

I think this is a very powerful song produced by an awesome band.

skeggy553 may i just quickly point out that although all their songs don't have to be about God this one is because if you are a Christian you consider Jesus your best friend. and why else would she say "under your stars" ? they arent anyone elses stars but God's.

she clearly states under YOUR stars, so i do believe it would be about god...
and believe it or not some people believe god talk to them at times. quite like i do...and I can def. see where she wouldnt want him to leave.

and the 1000 broken hearts and 1000 broken wings, is where god gave her the strength to fly again and be happy again.
"everytime she falls, hes underneath to catch her and lift her back up.

so yes, I strongly believe its about god.

i don't think this song is about God at all..in my opinion its EXACTLY wut sweetaddiction said and thts wut it meant to me the first time i herd it and well its powerfull.and by under ur stars she could also mean u can have the stars tonight anythin u want can be urs just dont leave me...kinda thing..it fits with me.
cause if its about god then wut does we'll live and breathe this dream supposed to mean?

I think she's means more like the presense of God, He is always with you, but there are times that moreso than ever that you can feel Him right there with you and it's a feeling you never want to let go of, and that's what I think of with this song.

Broken Wings was written by Sameer Bhattacharya.
It was going to be on the album but they took it off a couple of weeks before it was released, the band weren't happy with how it sounded.

I don't think its about their relationship with God.

"Under your stars tonight" doesn't mean that its automatically a song about God. It can easily be the person you love because they mean the world to you and the word 'stars' shouldn't be taken literally. In the beginning it is talking about how the friend makes you so happy but your afraid to tell them because your scared of their reaction.

A song can mean many different things to many different people and for me its about being in love with a friend. Im in love with my best friend but i can't tell her because when i'm with her i'm so happy that i would hate to see her leave me.

That's just mah 2 cents.

I've thought about it being about God, also, but I don't see it like that at all.

To me, the singer is talking about how they love their best friend and how they have always been there for her. She wants to be with that person forever.

The line "a 1000 broken hearts carried about 1000 broken wings' makes me think her best friend carries her even when he is broken, too, and vice versa. Thats just my opinion.

Its such a beautiful song. It means a lot to me because it seems to speak the words of my heart, i guess.

The christians can feel the song is about god, i personally think its about losing a loved one. Its a very lame, very pretty song. Down to your own interpretation. The band is christian but gives a f*ck.

Its about her being best friends with this boy and then she gradually feels herself falling in love, and she wants to tell him she just doesnt know how?... well thats the first verse any way. i dont get te rest of it
