It's an amazing song, I can't ever seem to find lyrics like these in songs that still sound good, only I don't get the first two lines. Can someone please explain?

It means that he's falling in love again, even though he swore he'd never trust another girl with his heart. But she's different, she changed the whole way he thinks about love. She sort of healed him in a way. He misses her to death when they aren't with each other and i think he's realizing exactly how fast he's falling.

the diversity of this band is sereal to go from such harcore routes to creating a love song with such beautiful harmonies and melodies is insane. there should be more songs like this on our radio and t.v instead of pure r&b thats goin around

The only bad thing about this song is that a crazy ex girlfriend was the one who told me about it.

Otherwise, the words are amazing. It seems like they make it so easy to make a love song, because this one just works so well.

This is a fucking amazing song... when i listened to all there other stuff then ran across this song it kinda shocked me they did an amazing job..

what a song , i love the line , " none of that ever seems to matter when im holding you " because he means like although the signs are there that u dnt feel what i do when im holding you it dusnt matter becus it feels so great and right in his mind, i feel as if the guy is saying tht ee reli loves and fell 4 this girl str8 away nd misses her nd wud do anyfyn 2 be with her bt she dusnt feel the sme even doe ee dusnt exactly state tht she dusnt i dnt fink she dus

The whole "you gave me butterflies at the mailbox" thing is from a letter his girlfriend wrote him. She would sneak out at night and they would meet at the mailbox and talk. She wrote him a letter that said you gave me butterflies at the mailbox.

I am so used to hearing these fast, loud, screaming somngs from them, it is different to hear something softf, slow and beautiful from ADTR. They are am amazing group. I love their songs, and this one is my favorite from them. I am absolutley love this song!!!
