my opinion:
i have a sister whos handi capped and it's been so incredibly hard for me. This past summer i heard this song and my mom mentioned how when she heard it, it reminded her of my sister. I listened to it and i knew she was right.

the lines
"she sun does nothing"
it's like my sister doesn't really do anything because she can't move

"she wont tell nothing"
my sister can't talk. you can tell her your secrets and they stay safe

"sea change she's strange"
not so sure about the sea, but from an onlooker i guess she's strange?

"don't think just feel it"
don't put too much thought into her disabilty because it hurts you too much. just feel the love for her

i know it's definatly not what the subways meant for this song, but it just means so much to me. it just makes so much sense to me. i love this song. it's my everything

i have no idea if this is right, its just a guess.

it implies she's the sun, so maybe he's the moon. b/c the moon controls the tide (or the sea).

soooo i'm thinking maybe he's changed something about himself or what he does. she doesn't say anything to him about it really she doesn't know how to react. so he's basically asking her to trust him

i hope i'm not reaching too far here.

it does have a soft and depressing sound to it.. could be about anything... it is a powerful song
