    General Comment:This song...how can I even begin to describe what it means to me. Its one of those songs that we all have...one of those songs that the first time you hear it, it just speaks to you, as if you've just been waiting your whole life to hear it.

    What does it mean to me? It means feeling sorrow. Sorrow that occurs because as much as you loved someone, or something, you're leaving it behind. And now, without it or them - your blind, just feeling your way through the dark until you can see on your own again. You thought you had it down pat. but now you realize you don't know anything, so your going to leave it to stargazers since you figure they can figure it out better than you, for all you know.

    And you can't find light anywhere, without that thing or person, everything is darkness. You left because its what was best to do, but you didn't leave without your wounds. And just before you leave them behind forever, you can't help but take one last look over your shoulder, to see what your leaving behind.

    Thats what that song means.

    General Comment:This song has to be one of my personal favourites. As i remember someone else saying before, the first three lines of the song often bring me to tears, as i know I've done this.
    She always amazes me with her lyrics.
    It's about starting afresh, from scratch without knowing what the future may hold and leaving behind all that you know, both good and bad.

    This part again, is one of my favourite parts of the song. It's realising what will be will be, because really and truly we aren't in control of anything, it really is left to fate to decide what will come of us whether its what we want or otherwise.

    General Comment:I think this song is about a person having to leave her past behind to step into the future. I think that the person may have fallen in love with somebody, but is afraid of letting go of the past. She's finding her way 'through the dark' in a loving relationship, since it's all new to her.

    General Comment:I love this and only wish my hands were big enough to reach some of those starting chords on the paino (:

    It's almost a story, starting with heartbreak and cofusion, then prehaps realising that the confusion or 'dark' is not as bad as you might think.
