Lyrics for Dance Inside as interpreted by BrandNew1208

Dance Inside Lyrics
You don't have to move
You don't have to speak
Lips for biting
You're staring down
A glance makes me weak
Eyes for striking

Now I'm twisted up when I'm twisted with you
Brush so lightly
And time trickles down and I'm breathing for two
Squeeze so tightly

I'll be fine, you'll be fine
This moments seems so long
Don't waste no precious time
We'll dance inside the song

What makes the one to shake you down?
Each touch belongs to each new sound
Say now you want to shake me too
Move down to me, slip into you

She sinks in my mind as she sheds through her skin
Touch (), tastes like fire
()
Hands to fuel desire

I'll be fine, you'll be fine
This moments seems so long
Don't waste no precious time
We'll dance inside the song

What makes the one to shake you down?
Each touch belongs to each new sound
Say now you want to shake me too
Move down to me, slip into you

And I'll be fine, you'll be fine
Is this fine?
I'm not fine
Give me pieces, give me things to stay awake

What makes the one to shake you down?
Each touch belongs to each new sound
Say now you want to shake me too
Move down to me, slip into you
What makes the one to shake you down?
Each touch belongs to each new sound
Say now you want to shake me too
Move down to me, slip into you
Move down to me, slip into you

Definitely one of the best songs on the new CD. Cannot wait for the official release! And the interlude where it goes, "oohh, oohh, aahh" is great. Still trynig to figure out if it is singing or guitar. Sounds like it could be either. What a wonderful song.

Alrighty. Yeah, I am leaning towards singing now on that part. As for the missing parts up there in the lyrics. The lyrics say:

touch, sight, taste like fire
hands do now what eyes no longer defend
hands to fuel desire

Of course, the song I have the most trouble understanding the lyrics is the hardest to make out in the booklet. Ha. That's how life goes, I guess. And I cannot even find the chorus in the booklet. Boo. Still an amazing song. :)

i don't think it's as hard as it seems. annErocks is right ..... there's definitely sex in this song haha. but i don't think it's about someone you have been with for along time .... i think it's more about a moment spent with someone that you have longed for or lusted after for so long. it's different than anything usual. and he's saying they'll be fine when they wake up and get back to reality, but for right now they have to take advantage of their opportunity.

From the echoey and dreamy opening chords, to Tyson's gentle and passionate falsetto, this entire song spells passion. Whether it be physical, emotional, or both. I feel that it is both... a passionate moment... perhaps with no regrets. But I'm not sure... many mixed messages in this song... alot like the situation it could be very well describing. I am not going to pretend to know what the song is about, because I don't know, but I do know that the song sounds like love. Probably my favorite song on this CD.

I agree with everything above. The lyrics are pretty simple and i like that. The song is sexual, and i think it's about sex with someone new, perhaps a close friend that had never been anything more. The lines "I'll be fine, you'll be fine" are the sort of thing you tell yourself in the moment. Then "I'm not fine" is the confession after a week of acting like it never happened, but thinking about it every minute.

Mostly about sex, but is very catchy. I'm currently learning the song's chords to play it to this girl I know, but I have no intention related to the song itself (no, I'm not getting her to get laid).

Ok, to fill in that part the guy's missing in the lyrics:

Second Verse:
She sings in my head as she sheds through her skin
Touch that taste like fire
Hands to what eyes could no longer defend
Hands to fuel desire

I thought it was:

She sinks in my mind as she sheds through her skin.
Touch, sight, taste like fire.
Hands do now what eyes no longer defend.
Hands to fuel desire.

I think it is about his first time with someone he really cares for. He really has a passion for this person.

"this moment seems so long dont waste now precious time"

seems like he might be a little nervous about it, but knows he is ready for it.

This is my absolute favourite song, ever. It's just drips with passion, love, and sex in such an incredibly beautiful way. Tyson Ritter's voice is mesmerizing, and the instruments in this song blend together magically... uh, I just love it. It's absolutely beautiful.

O. I totally agree with you guys, though I also think that this song is about protecting. So it's not only the gyu who's nervous, but the girl too. He want's to reassure her that it's ok, needs to protect her, or so I get that, especially the "I'm breathing for two" part. But you know, this is only the way I see it.

Oh, but do you actually think that he really cared about her? Or maybe he did, but was too afraid 2 show/admit it, since I also think that after the scene he was pretending that it never happened. So he he got cold feet when he realised that he cares about her.

Hmm i dunno... I love this song, one of my favourite AAR songs, but i don't think it's entirely about sex. Sure, there are lines in the song that proove true to that theroy, but i don't think the whole song overall is about that. Maybe it's just me :S

I love this song sooo flipping much! just like every other song but whatever. I don't think its just about that... I think that you can interpret it anyway you want. I really like this song and to me it has a different meaning then it does to a lot of people. But I've interpret it as a relationship and its kinnda dancing around going up and down (sounds retarded but you know what I mean.. or at least I think) laters

I absolutely love this song.. it's so sensual and sexy. It actually has substance.. it's not about a random hook-up--you can tell the singer has real passion for the person he's singing about.
