Instead of just repeating let this go. Great song.
The song is definitely about being in a relationship with someone and drifting apart from them, for whatever reason. It's become such a habit that both people just go through the motions of the relationship, pretending like nothing's wrong. You still care about them, but you just can't stand being in the relationship any longer.
