30 Seconds to Mars – Revolve

  My Interpretation:Today, I saw something that should have bothered me a lot, but it didn't. It made me realize how far I had come from how depressed I used to be. I then listened to this song, and it really spoke to me about that fact. To me, it's like the song is saying that it takes an internal revolution to really change yourself for the better. You have to put a lot of time and effort into making those changes that would truly make you feel alive inside, though it may also take love and caring from others, like that which I was shown by someone I really care about today.
  
  Aside from that, I just love Jared's voice in this song.

  General Comment:I think this song is talking about how we, as people, learn and grow (evolve) from our past experiences. The hardships and struggles that we go through in life are what help define us. Those who accept the trials and tribulations of life, with become better and stronger people because of it. Those who attempt to bury their past, will only be consumed by it. By accepting who you are, and no longer trying to hide certain aspects of yourself, your allowed to finally 'feel' alive.

  General Comment:This, and the whole album all has the same meaning. Think about what every song has in common. Most of them are about him talking to himself. Hes sending a message about life.

  My Opinion:It sounds like someone who's had a bad past and wants to let go of it and start again:

  General Comment:I agree with Echelonxx and it also suggests that the past is the past and you can move on (all you have to do is Lie). This is my fave 30STM song and the energy and lift I get from listening to the chorus does make me feel alive
