Our lives were one
Our lives were one
Our lives were one
Our lives were one
Our lives
Our lives
It's a broken heart
How they need something that's so hard
If you could take this time spent
I need went on to can feel it
I'm a broken heart, in a room
Just as we took a second look
This love was never strong
Cannot kill that, never will
Know the truth, the truth
Choose someone
If you die
You suffer
The broken hearted
I fall in love
And your teeth got wrapped around
Just can't speak
Just sit in your house
Never felt
Tears of love and
Tears of heart
You had it, you still
All you still use shampoo
You had it all, you still use shampoo
It felt so good
And you never die
She will fuck with you
Victory
I'm thinking of that kiss
Never will
I'm sitting cold
There was love
You loved him
Take him
Trust in you
We shall be
You had it all
Yeah blue
You had it
Who's there you're talkin' to
Like you're sucking on his dick
And it tastes so good
Dreams and a wish for you
I've seen the jaws and they taste so good
Saw the jaws and they taste so good
I've seen the jaws and they taste so good
Tasting the jaws and they taste so good
You've seen the jaws and they taste so good
Our lives were one
Our lives were one
Our lives were one
Our lives
Our lives
It's a broken heart
How they need something that's so hard

in the movie "Down to You (2000)" freddie prinze junior's character tries to kill himself by drinking shampoo.
i think the title and the line You hate it all and you still use shampoo
is like some one says they hate themselves they hate everyone and everything they say things about suicide but non of it matters because they still care enough to use shampoo and wash their and be pretty for the world they say they hate but i think the jumbled mess of the lyrics has more meaning than the lyrics them selves
why do you always have to use shampoo
i dont usually catch the rest of the song, but that part makes me think of someone who wants to die, but doesnt want to so he/she tries with shampoo instead. a half hearted kinda attempt at suicide.
to me, the lyrics don't really matter because it's just all about how the words sound together and the different sounds of the voices. i feel like the listener is supposed to be confused because that's how the writer felt.
looking at these lyrics (whether they're right or not) was kind of interesting though..
i do love the thought of the line "you hate it all and you still use shampoo."
i think that pretty much sums up the mood of the song. like everything's useless and jumbled and you're trying to make sense of it in your head and keep yourself together in your routines so the craziness can't completely take you over.
in a feist song, the original lyrics go "now i know i wanna win the war"
but in all her live performances she sings "now i know we're gonna stop the war"
in reference to Iraq
It is filled with so much emotion
passion, hate and more.
This is by far my favorite Broken Social Scene song.
