OK yes this song is amazing, but calm down. This is song is about Ville's Addiction to some Durg, thats why he wrote it. ANd its about him losing everything in life and ends up al most killign himself but then he meets the love of his life that kills the loneliness in his heart the turned it into a tomb.

this is an awesome song.....it's not so....morbid like other him songs...and it's cool that they are usually morbid.....

it just....how they are...

but this one..is more toward the sweet side of the bands lyircs....

That one HIM FAn is right it is about drugs "About the dangers of drugs especially smack" and thats is exactly what VIlle said right before the song during a live performance i don't know if it is about villes addiction to some drug or about almost killing himself??

Nay, Ville sings not about an addiction of his own--he sings of Brandon Novak, and his addiction to heroin. Novak used heroin "to kill the lonliness."

its is about a friend of his from pennselvania (can't spell) and was really hooked on smack and lost everything (Family and stuff) and that was his only way to kill his loneliness. Ville said that on Stevens Untiled Rock Show on fuse and it's not about love he says.

To me the song is about killing loneliness with a loved one(s) but Ville Valo said he wrote it about brandon novak's (pro skater, appears on viva la bam a lot) addiction to heroin saying he used it to "kill the loneliness"

this song freakn rocks....but the meaning behind this song as told by the god himself Ville Valo is about his friend who was a drug addict and he was killing his loneliness by taking drugs...fact said by mr.valo in my him concert which FREAKIN ROCKED!!!IT WAS BRILLIANT!!!!

well this song is actually about "Brandon Novak" (a pro skateboarder) and his addiction to heroin

When I first heard this song I too thinked it was a love song, but then I realized It had nothing to do with it, it was much more dark than that, so I though it was about a guy using a gir just to kill his loneliness, but now that I heard this drug addict friend of his version it really makes sense! woah! killing loneliness is deffinitely a really powerful song!

This song was based on Brandon novaks heroin addiction and how he 'killed lonliness' with it.

Brandon novak, for those of you who dont know, is bam margeras room mate. He had been doing heroin since he was around 14 years old but finally quit with help from bam and his family.

acually since as we should kno bam and val r like best budds and also this song is for brandon novak and his heroin addiction because read the lyrics ... he wanted to kill his loniness and when him and bam found eachother and such due to skateboarding he helped novak get off drugs and such...

great song but the song was dedicated to novak .. i found that on some novak bio ... which i thought i should share..

The song is about heroin, and suicide. It ruined his friends life and family's he literally killed away his loneliness cos he didnt like the thought of bieng lonely forever.

'With the venomous kiss you gave me, I'm killing loneliness', it means he injected himself, and is waiting for his death.

He is waiting for death as he thinks about love and how he wanted it but it never worked.

this song is actually about a friend of ville's named brandon novak who struggled with heroin and other types of drugs throughout his life. one day ville asked him why he took heroin and brandon novak replied with "its the only way to kill the loneliness." that is the only reason why ville wrote the song.
