CM is not a religious guy. I much doubt its about looking for Jesus. Probably just trying to find where he belongs in life, the right way to go. Super song

Absolutely amazing lyrics, at the moment really fitting for my state of mind.

I would say this song is pretty self explanatory, you can't quite put your finger on what's bothering you, why you feel the way you do, but you will be assured.

Probably the wrong meaning, its the way I see it though. When I first heard the song the lyrics just made my ears prick, they are so amazing, by far one of the best Coldplay songs :)

When life becomes almost like an illusion to you, it takes a lot for you place yourself back in reality. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite Coldplay songs ever. It boggles my mind that they didn't release it on X&Y. However, there is something intimate about keeping it a rather unknown song. I'm currently going through a hard time in my life, and just listening to this song keeps the flame going. It's as if Chris is singing this song specifically to the listener, helping them track down exactly what is causing these feelings.

This song, along with most other Coldplay songs, is psychologically healing.

i saw them perform this song and i was so proud to be a fan who actually new what song it was rather than being a band-wagoner. i really love this song. The lyrics are amazing and it makes you look at life from a persepective and makes you realize how you actually percieve things.

I think he's saying you can't learn everything from a book- all the numbers and equations in the world will never tell us how to live a fulfilling life. "You can't believe what you learn," i.e., the best way to learn is to just live and figure things out for yourself through experience.

The lyrics are posted incorrectly.

It should be "You're not gonna get hurt" instead of "You're not gonna get help" and on the last verse it should be "Are you scared of what you don't know?" NOT "Are you scared but you don't moan"

Other than that, these lyrics along with so many other coldplay songs nail how i feel sometimes. Well done gentlemen!
