Anything we should know about your change? -- If it was up to me
Well I'd lash out
Freak out seen on me
I'd lose my sympathy
If it was up to me

I'm calling you away
And promise you I'll be ok
With everything that I've got
I can explain to you someway

That I have been waiting for love
Waiting for love
And I told you that it would be worth it
Waiting for love

I'm gonna make it slow
And yes I need
And yes you go
But I don't wanna know

I'm gonna make it slow
you...
Kissed me once for good luck
And you told me it's true

oh wh o o o wh o no
I've gotta tell you its luck
But I've never been down
And I'm never gonna waste my time
My time

As I saw you talk
You asked me for a talk
And I was never there
But I could never see
If you would only plead anyway

I showed you how to work it
Waiting for love
Waiting for love
I told you it would be worth it
Waiting for love

Waiting for love
I've been waiting for love
I told you it would be worth it
Waiting for love
You said that I am perfect

Waiting for love

General Comment:Flowers said this song's about being in love but also being confused for various reasons, so you're taking it slow, but then realizes that it's worth it.

    or whatever it is. lol.

You can listen to this on youtube. Search for the video. It's not really a video, just a slideshow with the song in the background. I just found this today.

Nice catchy song. I also luv the guitar riffs.

General Comment:This song was one of my most played songs on my ipod.(The most played is Midnight Show) I wish they would re record this song but its doubtful that they will. The quality I have sounds like they're in a basement, but it sounds better when I set the EQ to spoken word.

I'm thinking that the whole waiting for love thing could refer to waiting to make love. It's obviously better if you take things slow and he mentions that it will be worth it if they wait. But then again The Killers' songs aren't usually that straight forward.

General Comment:Aww.. this song is so cute. I love how Brandon just mumbles some random dodooodo's and stuff like that at the intro- It's like he's juts makeing up as he goes along

And Dave's riff in so simple, yet catchy and intense. I love it

General Comment:I've been listening to these songs for so long I had to strain myself off of them, I just don't wanna get sick of them. I guess I'll have to continue this behavior untill the new album comes out.

General Comment:I love all these demos!! It makes a change from listening to hot fuss for the millionth time (although i aint saying i'm tired of it or anything..). I've been obsessed with getting all of them and none have really disappointed.

Agree with Xtinab, most of them have a different sound too but they're still amazing. I sometimes think they should have recorded some of these. Oh well, here's to the new album, I heard its out in april, thats so far away!!
