Save my money
For that plane ride
Horn of plenty
Heavy sunlight
Autumn's bounty
Bread and red wine
In a hurry
But there's so much time
I will wait for you
Growing love but like water
Time will always slip through
I will wait for you
But please come soon
The wind sounds angry
But my coat's kind
Wrapped in blankets
In the daylight
Winners longing
Some are close behind
In a hurry
But there's so much time
I will wait for you
Growing love but like water
Time will always slip through
I will wait for you
Is it in a plan
Written in your hand
Believe or understand
Something other than
Fear is blinding lights
Squeeze my eyes so tight
Could you make a flower grow
Would you let me know
I will wait for you
Growing love but like water
Time will always slip through
I will wait for you
But please come soon
For that plane ride
Horn of plenty
Heavy sunlight
Autumn's bounty
Bread and red wine
In a hurry
But there's so much time
I will wait for you
Growing love but like water
Time will always slip through
I will wait for you
But please come soon
The wind sounds angry
But my coat's kind
Wrapped in blankets
In the daylight
Winners longing
Some are close behind
In a hurry
But there's so much time
I will wait for you
Growing love but like water
Time will always slip through
I will wait for you
Is it in a plan
Written in your hand
Believe or understand
Something other than
Fear is blinding lights
Squeeze my eyes so tight
Could you make a flower grow
Would you let me know
I will wait for you
Growing love but like water
Time will always slip through
I will wait for you
But please come soon

Pretty straightforward in the meaning, but I have to say it's one of the best lyrics on the passage of time I've ever heard.
<3
the wind sounds angry, but my coat's so kind
i love that lyric!
I heard this song for the first time today, and I just have to say that it's beautiful :] It makes me happy.
"but please come soon"
not too
I hear "Horn" and it makes sense because she's talking about the bounty of Autumn and the bread and wine. It's Thanksgiving and a horn of plenty is a cornucopia.
The happiness the author finds in the relationship is almost too heavy to bear, and the placement of autumn in the lyrics bends towards the tricky beauty of autumn; the leaves are brilliant, but they fall to the ground, turn brown, and reveal bare trees; truth is revealed.
The author knows that her love will continue to grow for her lover, and she realizes it isn't necessary to have a solution just yet.
In the second verse she acknowledges her own strength and confidence, and accepts that she was anxious in the past. She also alludes to an idealism that she has abandoned.
"Is it in a plan, written in your hand?
Believe or understand, something other than
Fear is blinding lights, squeeze my eyes so tight
Could you make a flower grow?
Would you let me know?"
In this section, she is directing her lover to tell her his intentions and she is open to ideas and solutions that haven't been illuminated just yet. She also expresses her fear that she might lose her lover.
Overall, she is telling her lover that he/she is her one true love, so time is immaterial, and she waits endlessly.
"Save my money, for that plane ride
horn of plenty, heavy sunlight
Autumn's bounty, bread and red wine
In a hurry, but there's so much time"
I'm almost positive about that too.
The chorus that tiki_12 posted is the correct one as well. (:
This is my most favorite song ever. It is really really gorgeous, and the first time I listened to it, I cried. It just reminds me of being seperated from someone for too long, and not knowing where to begin, but just knowing that you have to see them again. I don't know. It's just beautiful. (:
Save my money for that plane, I've
boarded plenty. Heavy sunlight
autumn's bounty, bread and red wine
In a hurry, but there's so much time...
And the chorus is:
I will wait for you,
Growing love, but like water
time will always slip through.
I will wait for you.
But please come soon.
This song is so beautiful, what an opener for a great debut album.
