to me, this is being in a relationship to protect the other person's feelings.
i'm completely off, i know. but i can apply this to my life better.
it sounds like [obviously a relationship type thing but] he just wants everything to be out in the open so she's clear on how he feels
thats all I think of now, it kind of ruined the song for me =/
to me it sounds like a guy and a girl were together and had something.
