  General Comment:username_sucks seems to be spot on. cocaine being smuggled inside fish makes sense. the only confusing aspect left is the use of the word "stepson". i interpret this being that the significance of every close bond and relationship the addict had previous to the drug has been detached to a secondary status. a stepson wouldn't hold the same inherent closeness or responsible nature as a blood son. therefore, the consequences of an addicts actions on those who look up to and love them, wouldn't bring them guilt. everyone is secondary to the blood bond with the drug, which has most influence and priority.

  An obivious reference to finding out you or your friend is on drugs.

  An old way of marketing drugs was through fish, so this is a warning for your step son not to eat a fish fillet or a fish stick ever again.

  Song Meaning:When Serj says "Hope your stepson doesn't eat the fish", it means that back in the 80's people used to smuggle cocaine by putting it inside fish.

  General Comment:This song is pretty fucking awesome but pretty fucking weird as well. The only meaning I can make from it is that this is from a cocaine addict's point of view and when he's high, he's happy. But when he's not high he's... not? (lol?) And when he's not high he abuses his wife / girlfriend. Not a very good interpretation but ti's the only thing I can make of it.

  General Comment:Maybe the Stepson and Fish part is saying that the guy in the song hopes that someone else (in this case 'your stepson') doesn't eat the fish/drugs so they'll be out of drugs when they need their next fix.
