I carry a Madness,
Everywhere I go,
Over the border.
And back to the snow.

So if you see me
And I look right through
You should not take it
As a reflection on you

Come on, turn up the sun
Turn it up for everyone.

Love one another
Love one another

The boys in the bubble
Want to be free
They got so blind
That they cannot see

Well I'm not your keeper,
I don't have your key.
I got a piano,
But I can't find the see

Come one, turn up the sun
Turn it up for everyone

Love one another
Love one another

Come on, turn up the sun,
Turn it up, for everyone

Love one another,
Love one another.

General Comment:A rare excellent arrogant start to an album for oasis.

General Comment:the_cage..you seem to hate alot of oasis songs..but like a few..why? lol you act like the personal critic of oasis, almost every song has a "predictable chord progression"... this is just a short little rocking opener for the best oasis album made this WTSMG.

General Comment:This song is just stunnin'. The lyrics are just average but they go on pretty good with the rythm. I think it's best gig opener song that Oasis had ever, it just rocks. Somebody asked up there that which song was better in order to open a gig, if it was 'Hello' (from WTSMG?) or 'Turn Up The Sun', i would answer 'Turn Up The Sun' definetely, it's much more powerful although 'Hello' is an average tune when its sang by Liam Noel made it a truly great tune when he performed it at the MTV acoustic set in '96 if you hadn't the chance to listen to it, download it now!

General Comment:This song is amazing. The whole band knew what they needed to do for this album and they did it.

General Comment:Hardly a guitar solo to speak of. Predictable chord progression. Liam speaks most of the song, and it just isn't catchy. It's not powerful. Poorly written.

General Comment:The meaning of this song to me is purely musical. From 2:45 to 3:16 there is a fake outro. Why they decided to continue after that, I don't know. But it is fucking brilliant. I have a feeling Noel was responsible for that part.

Unless you particularly appreciate melody, guitar solos, etc. I can see why you would have a hard time getting into this song.

General Comment:It's good, but how do you dare compare it to "Hello", which is such a classic by now???
