  General Comment:To me, this song is really what it says, don't worry be happy. As humans we allow ourselves to be consumed with worries, but hopefully we can learn to manage and overcome them; only then can we be truly happy. When we give ourselves permission to do this, all the things that seemed so troublesome, seem to sort of fade away. We can feel as though the heaviest weight has been lifted off our chests and we can finally be free.

  General Comment:Not the best version, but a catchy and fun song nevertheless. The messsage is a good one: Don't Worry. Be happy. I'm trying. God knows I'm tryin'!!! Did get asked out today via Facebook by a local dude, so I should be HAPPY. Still haven't responded, but I probably will say NO as he's "poked" me almost daily for three months. THAT is a tad bit frightening:) Even I get headaches;)

  General Comment:Well said, I was just thinking how great people on here are for not insulting each other like on youtube but i guess i spoke a bit too soon.
  Let's keep it clean people, we're all just in the same tunes and learning about there meaning from each other.

  General Comment:So sorry for those playin the "we are so cool, gotcha game". Knowing the lyrics and heart of Bob Marley, I doubt he would sanction such arrogant, self-righteous behavior. The confusion, I'm sure comes from this song Marley did write, "Three Little Birds", which has this chorus:
  
  Dont worry about a thing,
  cause every little thing gonna be all right.
  Singin: dont worry about a thing,
  cause every little thing gonna be all right!
  
  For the "know it alls" who claim Marley could have never written a song like Don't Worry, Be Happy, uh.....do you see ANY similarity between the two song's choruses?

  General Comment:What on earth?! This ISN'T Bob Marley?!?!?! Is he at least singing it or are ya'll saying he had absolutely no part in it??!?!?! I've spent my entire life thinking this is Bob Marley! But in the song, it sounds like him, so are ya'll sure it ain't him?

    Come on yall. Here's the deal, Don't Worry was writtin in '88, Bob died in '81... There
    s a little time difference there. ha, Bob's the only person that wouldnt let a doc amputate his toe because he 'wouldnt dance right'.
