I think the song itself is just a fun kind of song with not definite meaning... however, parts of it do have really clear meanings soo...

I think those lines are really good... it seems like Ben is talking about how his friend/girlfriend (something like that) only really cares about him when he's gone, like on tour or something... it's like he is saying that the only time "She" only really cares about him is when he's not there... and it's kind of like "She" is bored with him... as if she is too good for him or something....

it could also be like the guy is trying to get with this girl... but she's not interested or something like that... and so one night he gets drunk because he wants to be with her and then ends up hitting on a girl who already had a boyfriend, and naturally he was pissed soo he smacked him around a "little"...

Ben is a very cool dude. The whole band actually stuck around after our concert and talked with us and signed stuff. they are a very down to earth yet fun band.

I love this song! i also love how catchy it is and how raw his voice sounds at times. and the ladiladida part is awesome too! i love ben, and this feels totally weird because he was my English teacher, i feel like such a stalker...lol
