Lyrics for Black Leather as interpreted by K-nuxXx

Black Leather Lyrics
Ooh (x3)

Well, she's all geared up, walkin' down the street
And I can feel the slime, drippin' down her sleeve
Well, you can't refuse and you just can't choose what she's gonna do
Well, you can't refuse and you just can't choose what she's gonna do

Ooh
Ooh

Well, it's late at night, and I'm all alone
And I can hear her boots as she's near her home
Well, you can't refuse and you just can't choose what she's gonna do
Well, you can't refuse and you just can't choose what she's gonna do

Scratch, scratch, she's clawing at the door
Whoa, no, I can't take it anymore
Crack, crack I'm feeling so sore
I never should asked for black leather
Black leather
Ooh, black leather
Ow black leather

And you can try to hide, but you won't get far
You can let her in, and you'll start it again
Well, you can't refuse and you just can't choose what she's gonna do
Well, you can't refuse and you just can't choose what she's gonna do

Scratch, scratch, she's clawing at the door
Whoa, no, I can't take it anymore
Crack, crack I'm feeling so sore
I never should asked for black leather
Black leather
Ooh, black leather
Ow black leather

Ooh
Ooh
Black Leather (x8)

This song is great! Who originally sang this one? I'm sure GNR does the better version though. They always do!

This is not a sex pistols song even though it is credited as one. This is a Steve Jones song, he wrote it in 1980 by that time the sex pistols were already finished which was 1978.

This song is by The professionsal, made up of Steve Jones and paul Cook who were in the Sex Pistols. However, the 7" single of this song was critted to the Sex Pistols and bundled with a bunch of other Sex Pistols singles in a boxed set, which explains the confusion over the credits.

This cover is alright, but the original is better. I'd have prefered a cover of a Sex Pistols song like Submission or Satellite.

Also worth noting, Steve Jones redid the Sex Pistols song Did You No Wrong (excellent song) on his solo album Fire & Gasoline with Axl Rose on backup vocals. It's awesome and I recommend you track the song down.

This is one of those songs that is hard to interpret, you really have to know what the songwriter means by "Black leather"
