Lyrics for Another Girl, Another Planet (The Only O... as interpreted by Bertxx

Another Girl, Another Planet (The Only O... Lyrics

I always flirt with death
I could kill, but I don't care about it
I can face your threats
Stand up tall and scream and shout about it

I think I'm on another world with you
I'm on another planet with you

You always get under my skin
I don't find it irritating
You always play to win
I don't need rehabilitating

Another girl, another planet
Another girl, another planet

Space travels in my blood
And there ain't nothing I can do about it
Long journeys wear me out
Oh God we won't live without it

Another girl is loving you now
Another planet, forever holding you down
Another planet

This song is sort of bittersweet, because it's an awesome cover but it's always going to be the "last" Blink song recorded.

It's a very good cover, one of those that I think is better than the original. Kind of sad it's probably the last recorded song by them... but oh well.

ehhh im not so sure if its about being on heroin

but if it isnt, then i'd say this song is about being a playa and how you have to act different around every girl that you fall in love with

Yes this is a cover and it is the last Blink 182 song recorded FOR NOW. I think they will be back together, I hope so, all my favorite bands break up... Jamisonparker, Northstar, Taking Back Sunday basically.

This is an amazing cover. I love the original - but I just think think this version is better!

It's not about being on heroin either - it's basically about how this girl makes him feel - like he's in another wrold, or another planet! Self-explanetory really, the whole song is just using space as an extended metaphor for the way love/lust makes you feel.

Yeah, the more I read into it the more I see how it's about the drug. It's all too innocent to be about love and lust. I love the way that the music is the antithesis of what the lyrics are saying.

i think that this is pretty obvious that its about a girl, im pretty sure theres no deep and meaningful insight into drugs. Thats not really what blink do, and i think that in the current positions it wouldnt be about heroin or wateva. considering they've all got partners and children it just doesnt seem right to be about heroin. maybe the original one was but not the one in this context.
