    Song Meaning:To me the term "catch without arms" is just a metaphor. I think that "catch" or playing catch, in this case is music, and "arms" are the essentials. The art, the meaning, the thought. So he's saying that many of the artists today sell-out with crappy, non-thought out music just to make some money. They're playing catch without arms.

    what dredg is saying is that when you make yourself passive and receptive to millions of voices with agendas (to get money from you for instance) you create demons in your consciousness, people that sing about love and lust to exploit emotional pain primarily

    Is the dumbest lyrics ever. It totally fits the song. He's basically saying he's not there to make someone rich. Also, that pretty much they're trying to take most of the money. Which is why there's is on a diet.

    the lyrics say 'catch without arms', and yes, that is the Record Title also, but that isn't the whole line. nor should you try to decipher like that.
    the line in the chorus goes:
    "That's what happens when you play catch without arms"

    what do you think happens when you try to play catch, without arms?

    General Comment:Catch without arms...could they be saying how music made to be catchy to make money is empty...there for the catchy music or 'catch' is without arms as it has no emotional or honest intent behind it and is only made to make music.

    General Comment:I'm not exactly sure what "Catch without arms" means, but I do know it says play catch.. so that would imply catch with a baseball or something.. How can you play catch without arms? You can't right? Since he's talking about the music industry and art, it would seem to me he's saying they aren't making music, they aren't producing art, They are giving you what you want to hear, something that is catchy something that will sell, but not an expression of themselves, an expression of what they think you will relate to.
