nooo snitches and talkers make stiches and walkers is also called "I liked you a whole lot better before you became a fucking myspace whore", and along with "we don't take hits, we write them", they wont be on the new cd :( lol, but oh well

i think its about how theyve met some real shitty people that only want to be friends w. them cause they're famous. thats how the "just because we move units" would tie in. Like groupies and stuff. I'm not sure, talk it out

Moving units generally refers to CD sales. This song's an attack on the people who are "friends" with the band just because they're famous. That's where the title comes from.

"Stitches and Talkers.." "..Myspace whore" "hand of god" and "WE don't take hits.." are all most likely going to be released on an ep as pete has stated many times. They are all seprate songs and seprate from this song.

Also it's always everyone else. I have the lyric boklet..trust me. Thought you only here Patrick say everyone.

Because we move units is reffering to buisness partners, or fame.

And this song itself now seems like a big lie. I've been a fall out boy fan for 2 years now. And the scars and stories along with the fans are way down on the lsit now. Fame an money are at the top of it. It kills me to say that..but I'm not alone in thsoe feelings. MTV and Island so ruined them. I have confidence the next cd will suck outloud. I hope the guys prove me wrong.

this song is all about "fame". it is about how they are trying to stay humble to the crazy lime life--"you are a getaway car, a rush of blood to my head. but me, im just the covers on top of your bed"
it is fame who is saying "champange for me REAL freinds, and real pain for my SHAM freinds".
"FAME" is also speaking through the distorted muffled sound of patricks voice in verse 2.
great song. not a single or anything, but definitly one of the better ones on the album.

I still, honestly, in my heart, believe that they still do it for the scars and stories, not the fame. Even though it seems like it, I've read some recent interviews with Pete, and they say the fame's great and everything, but it will always be for the music. I believe that.

They're so used to big cities, because of their "fame", that they don't want to be in small towns anymore, I suppose.

I just got this album for Christmas, and now I'm going through the lyrics for each song. I kinda don't like how most of the songs are loaded with sexual innuendo, but hey, whatever.

I just wanted to stop by and point out that the second line reads "a rush of blood to the head", which is the name of a song and album by Coldplay. Personally, I love Coldplay to death, so I looked through these lyrics to see if I could find a cross-reference.

After going through and reading the comments, I think that this could also be an off-hand way to say how awful Coldplay's 2005 album "X&Y" was. I personally liked "X&Y", but any Coldplay fan will admit that it was nowhere near as good as "A Rush of Blood to the Head", which is the album that really landed Coldplay in the public scene.

So using Coldplay as an example, maybe F.O.B. is saying how so many bands try so hard to be better than their last big hit, and then it turns out terribly...I don't know. Any thoughts?
