Is you thinking that I don't know) and that he feels that what worse then the fact that she cheated it's that the whole time she would think to herself and say "well he doesn't know about it", he breaks up with her even though she begs to get back with him then when he goes out, he's always timid to try and date a new girl because deep down he still wants to be with his ex but doesn't want to look desperate enough that he will tolerate infidelity.

Don't try to explain this shit to me. There is no significant meaning. Just to make matters worst, I believe there's only 2 more sets of lyrics for this whole song. Nice writing, Schubert, you have discovered the secret to songwriting; Write something about being lonely, and repeat throughout.
Also, I will beat some of you to the punch and address some complaints by some of you:

This is a site to talk about song meanings, keep it at that. - Wrong. when you sign up for this site, it states "Share your opinions on your favorite (and not so favorite) songs." That not so favorite part has got to be my favorite.
You just need to listen to what he's singing blah, blah, blah... - No, there's nothing there. I read it enough times to sing along with it. There's nothing there.
You just don't understand them - No, I don't, but I do understand music, and this is just a cataclysmic mess.
Well if you know more than them, why are you not doing what they are doing? - Because, the music business has become so viciously raped it's disgusting. Your correct, I won't be making millions of dollars and cranking out triple platinum albums through a proverbial meat grinder. Don't fret though, I will settle for the fact that the vast majority of people will be in the same predicament I am.
It's my music, It's my choice - Yes, you are correct. As previously stated though, I'm bored. I figured I would receive some enjoyment for myself. And I could say I'm pretty proud of myself. Save the grammatical nightmare that has come out of me at this ungodly hour. As long as the basic point comes across, I shall smile whenever I return to this place.

and the song also has a shallower meaning, which is the boy/girl story. thats the beautiful thing about the lyrics, you have to really think about them, and the actual meaning hits you in the face.
