  General Comment:what is up with the name of the song? i dont get it. someone please enlighten me because "stop the fucking car" has nothing to do with the song and what it means.....?

    the song title is from the boondock saints movie. one of the characters in the movie says
    "stop the fucking car"

  Song Meaning:When my buddy went to see Anthony Green and Circa, he asked what this song was about. Anthony explained that he and Colin were in a car under the influence of LSD and one of them freaked out and said "Stop the f*****' car!" and then "Dont stop talking to me. I havent been listening." It's funny, because that's how people talk on acid. It's like a backwards conversation.

  To me it says the person is pale (light) and their face is filled with guilt (cocaine).

  General Comment:I think that this song has a lot to do with religion.If you have ever heard, "Kicking your crosses down" you can tell that Anthony struggles a lot with belief of God and the Christian religion. For example, the part that says," He has risen, pull me under" makes me think of Jesus on the day of judgement. And when he says, "Dont stop talking to me, I haven't been listening." he may be talking about, or to, God,al and his message. I actually have came to the conclusion that he sold his soul to the devil before. It may sound crazy but it's just a thought. And maybe that's why he says pull me under, because he knows he can't be saved and he's accepted it. And by the way, it doesn't have to be a out drugs just because he made a reference to one. He just like that comparison.

  General Comment:I think that this song is about somebody who is being pulled over by a police officer and the person is on cocaine. Before they are being pulled over they are doubting their decision to take drugs, but the drug is persuading them, "don't be alarmed...". The drug is becoming them, "Misleading at most, I'm supposed to imposter a new you.". Then the police is pulling them over and he/she phases back into their own consciousness for a moment begging, "Cut me gently, Cut me out of mind." -- just my interpretation... it's kind of sketchy as it seems to disagree at some points! Maybe you guys can build off of it?

  General Comment:i think that this song is based on a car crash. "spinning lights" could be a reference to the lights on a cop car or an ambulance. "cut me gently, cut me out" could mean that they were stuck in the car and had to be taken out.
