don't say a word
don't be grateful if i ever made you laugh
lets make believe
what's at stake here is more than just your reputation
she's got the photos but no recollection
he's got the motive but no transportation

purely courteous across her chest
are you cutting me out now
after crawling inside

turn away your head
what do i deserve
what do i deserve instead

it's a surprise you haven't caught on yet
it's nothing personal you're an embarassment

don't cut me out

we're offering nothing but the best accommodations
just tell us who you are
just tell us who you are
we're offering nothing but the best accommodations
just tell us who you are
just tell us who you are

turn away your head
what do i deserve
what do i deserve instead

it's a surprise you haven't caught on yet
it's nothing personal you're an embarassment

don't cut me out

it's a surprise you haven't caught on yet
it's nothing personal you're an embarassment

don't cut me out

My Interpretation:I definitely see how this relates to Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. However we all relate to music differently and it's why we listen.

I can almost see a kid or a guy who is probably not the "coolest" among his peers having a crush on a popular chick. They meet up at a party and he hooks up with her. She doesn't remember anything because she was too drunk and doesn't remember anything. The word maybe got out - hence the pictures that she doesn't remember. It didn't come from him because he doesn't have transportation - or drive or agenda.

After talking to her after the incident she acts like she doesn't know him. She turns away instead and the guy doesn't know what he did wrong. He doesn't know why he should deserve this kind of resentment. You crawled into my heart and now you're ignoring me.

"it's a surprise you haven't caught on yet
it's nothing personal you're an embarassment."

I can picture the girl literally saying this to him. As if he were quoting. Telling him that he's nobody and he should forget about the whole thing.

Obviously he doesn't want to be cut out. He wants to know her. He wants to know who she really is as a person as he promises his love. The "best accommodation."

    General Comment:HE DIDN'T GET RAPED...hahaha.
It's about someone nailing and bailing.
    Ejaculating & evacuating.
Doing the dirty & flying away like a birdy.
    Having sex & leaving.

Song Meaning:Basically, I think this song is about someone who used him.
The line "Let's make believe what's at stake here's more than just your reputation." It's like somebody used him to make their self feel or seem like a better person.
The line "Are you cutting me out now after crawling inside?" Is him saying, -so you came crawling to me and I accepted you, and now that you're satisfied you're going to leave me?-
The rest of the song is more like a slap to whoever it was that used him.
And the line "We're offering nothing but the best accomodations, just tell us who you are." It's like he is mocking himself saying -Here I am, come and use me for whatever you need, it doesn''t matter what you do to me and it doesn't matter who you are.-
The name of the song is based off of the fact that he was there for someone "holding their hair back" (suggestively while the person was puking after drinking too much) and the person wasn't courteous enough to care for him in the end.
This is all just my interpretation.

Memory:[I'm doing this while listening to the song, and I'm only listening to the song once, because I'm doing this with every song on the album, so I'll tell you what I think, and then that's it.]
The start is the same as the end of the album that's the first note I'd like to take,
second, "don't say a word, don't be grateful..." maybe that means sit back and listen to the album, let them do the work.

there's a lot going on here though, all the lyrics are a build up, and then it goes to "turn away your head" I think it's a good imagery of a build up and then just vomiting something out, which would be that chorus there.
Still, the song is a lot and there's a lot there. Maybe it's about expecting too much, just because he's like, what do I deserve what do I deserve instead?

never mind, then again, Hotels are a place for having parties, and well, the song has to do with vomiting, so I rest my case as follows, I don't really know, but it must have to do with something along the lines of being too fucked up and people remembering it but not you. Plus, it might have a more direct meaning with someone's personal experience, either Anthony's or someone elses in the band.

I know many people think the Accommodations part has to do with a hotel, but I think it has to do with either personal information involved with money, kinda like paying taxes, or something like that. They're robbing you and scamming you and they say they offer nothing but the best accommodations, but are truly lying.

    General Comment:He's not gay.
He was in AP Magazine(alternative press magazine) and it said that he just got married to his long time girlfriend/roommate Merideth.

    General Comment:it's probably entirely off....
    "don't cut me out yet"
    makes me think about abortion.
the pre-born child being an "emberassment"
which would go with "let's make believe, what's at stake here's more than just a reputation."

I may be completely wrong, but "what do I deserve instead" is like... the fetus didn't do anything so why is he being punished. I don't know, Circa Survive has wierd lyrics ^_^
