Beautiful dawn lights up the shore for me.
There is nothing else in the world.
I'd rather wake up and see (with you).
Beautiful dawn I'm just chasing time again.
Thought I would die a lonely man, in endless night.

But now I'm high, running wild among all the stars above.
Sometimes it's hard to believe you remember me.

Beautiful dawn (beautiful dawn) melt with the stars again.
Do you remember the day when my journey began?
Will you remember the end (of time)?
Beautiful dawn (beautiful dawn) You're just blowing my mind again.
Thought I was born to endless night, until you shine.

High, running wild among all the stars above.
Sometimes it's hard to believe you remember me.

Will you be my shoulder when I'm grey and older?
Promise me tomorrow starts with you,
Getting high; running wild among all the stars above.
Sometimes it's hard to believe you remember me.

Cry, running wild among all the stars above,
Sometimes it's hard to believe you remember me.

    General Comment:Is not so complicated...

Simply, is about to thaks someone (especially enfocated to a gf or bf) for appears in your life and make that your life had sense. But in my opinion also can be "dedicated" to a friend, parent, etc, just because it is a song to "give the thanks" to someone.

Btw, i think it is one of the most beautiful lovesongs i ever heard. I really want to hear this song in my weeding.

My Interpretation:I like a lot this song, James Blunt is actually an excellent musician and undoubtedly he could make great folk if he wanted, and I believe this song is about having again someone you had gave for lost and the joy it gave, he makes it pretty clear in the line "Thought I was born to endless night, until you shine", so this girl that he haven't saw in a really long time founds him and for his surprise she remembers him, and though he thinks this is something really hard to believe it makes him so happy that he feels high because he always liked her, and now that she is back he wants a life with her, line "Promise me tomorrow starts with you", and I don't know if is just me or anyone else notice it but the last line sounds like he says "Sometimes it's hard to believe you remembered me" giving sense to what I'm saying.
This is just my interpretation and it actually makes more sense than the others I had read.

General Comment:Maaaan, I don't know if he's talking about weed or not - but if he is he needs to hook me up with wherever he's gettin that shit from! lol, that's some other worldly bud right there because he sounds like he's having an outer body experience or somethin... its a good mellow, uplifting morning song to listen to while your showerin and getting ready either way, stoned or not :p

General Comment:Finally finding someone. Its the rush... the HIGH. Running wild in this world.

The last bit is him asking her to fall in love with him.

The line I'd like someone to talk about is "Its hard to believe you remember me."

My Interpretation:You guys completely miss the point of this song. yes, it is about a relationship, but not with a girl, unless that girls name is mary jane!

In the first verse he talks about waking up in the morning with a bag of weed in you're dresser drawer, and how knowing he's got plenty of weed makes him feel happy that there's a new day. The weed comforts him, makes him feel special. He's got the whole day ahead of him and he's already getting stoned! This is commonly know as wake-and-bake.

and then he's high. and he goes on being high for the rest of the day.

then we fast forward to nighttime, and he's been smoking weed and being high all day, and he reflects on how awesome it's been and asks his weed if it remembers the end of time (he's really stoned). Then he thinks about how much better weed makes life, and how without it everything is dark and shitty, but pot makes it awesome.

Then, as he goes to bed, he hopes marijuana will remain a part of his life forever. He has a very emotional moment with his weed, and decides to do it all again tomorrow.

This is a very powerful song about his very personal relationship with weed. James Blunt has literally fallen in love with smoking weed, it completes him, and makes him feel whole. I cry every time i hear this song. Simply amazing.
