    General Comment:First heard this song in the Norman Jewison film version of the musical. As far as I know it wasn't included in the original stage run, although I believe it has been used in more current productions.

    In any case, it is a beautiful and haunting song, even when taken out of the context of Jesus Christ Superstar.
