    General Comment:I clearly see that this song is about language, and how we use it in the shape of answers that are useful for us to uderstand our reality("understanding laced in the web(language)"). They are no good but for organize what surrounds us, but we cant reach the truth through them("these things harmonize and overthrow"). They work as an arsenic to our lack of understanding, but they lie.

    i dont think they are saying bastard as a slang word
    bastard,as truelysaved sayed, means fatherless
    so they are probably saying the words have no meaning and are rootless.

    Darwin co-created the theory. A theory is not a hunch yet hold no truth - by definition a theory is the explanation of phenomenon and observations.

    Like I said, Darwin co-created the theory - and like I said a theory holds no truth. Darwin did not claim "the he knew how it happened."

    General Comment:Ok, I've read all the comments above, but it seems obvious to me that “Understanding laced the web!” actually means men's thirst for understanding (and all the scientific progression) made everything more confusing and complicated (laced the web)

    General Comment:Okay...this song...if you ask me...is against our philosophies that our world holds on so closely to in comparison to us as Believers.

    ~~The farmer had daughters, and they were murdered, so he ran around screaming, “MY DAUGHTERS ARE DEAD!!! MY DAUGHTERS ARE DEAD!!!” In our world, we as Christians should be, “OUR NATION IS DEAD!!! OUR GENERATION IS DEAD!!!”

    "Deception is charming."

    ~~Enough said on that subject.

    ~~To us as redeemed Christians, it’s not so. Deception is a foul odor to us.

    ~~If we look at it from a Christian view:

    These philosophies will neutralize the whole argument by making people happy, but then it will take over the whole. Like those who wouldn't believe Creationism...they made a little room for Evolution, and now look at it! They will cure...they will answer our questions and our thirst for information, but they will destroy everything we hold on to.

    ~~Doesn't it seem like that? We can't really win...they're stuck in their beliefs...or so we think. But, we're not the deceivers, so with God, we can tear down the walls of the falseness.

    ~~Satan is the liar and the condescender, or the demeaner of Christ, and, like TRUELYSAVED said, the words born as bastards are the words of Satan, as fatherless can be, nothing but lies and deceit.

    ~~We need to put down our weapons and become on the same level as them…we are no better. We’re all sinners…but we’re redeemed. Our lives, the living miracles they are, will shine His Light on them.

    “And killers will rise!!!”

    ~~Killers by the Sword, or the Word of God (Eph. 6:17), but not real killers. We need to be active in God’s Word and attacking the falseness.

    “Where have we gone wrong???”

    ~~What did we as a race do to deserve this mess? It’s called…the deception of Adam.

    “Understanding laced the web!”

    The web of the Spider, Satan, is covered in that stench of the need of information and understanding. That’s where evolution came from…because Darwin wanted to say that he knew how it happened.


    That's about it if you ask me. Colossians 2:8 says, "Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deciet, according the the traditions of men, according to the basic patterns of this world, AND NOT ACCORDING TO CHRIST."

    Look out for false philosophy.

    General Comment:Are the lyrics at the beginning referring to 'The Green Mile', in which an inmate is convicted of murdering two girls. Crazycore's nailed it, for me. I don't think there's a better explanation.

    General Comment:if you really think about it, "words born as bastards" is the only part you need. batards are fatherless men. so if the words are fatherless, they have no root to them, no meaning. so he's basically saying thats something is creating chaos for no reason and we dont know what to do or if we've done something to create the chaos. its probably has to deal with xcrazycorex's belief, from the society and how the media can twist it and how we need to think of a solution quick before time runs out and there is no hope and complete chaos destroys the world.     General Comment:I can't help but think the music video for this song has to do something with this song's meaning. The first person's interpretation made me think he could be right because of the children in the video maybe having to do something with the song. Whatever it is, it's an amazing song. Not just lyrically, but my gosh, the guitar play and distortion is incredible... Great metal band.

    General Comment:NJ is so awesome with their lyrics....its so hard to get the meaning of them but i think crazycore, you really got it.....i mean i read your comment and it fit so well. i aggree wit hyou megarocker. its cool to see different ways that NJ makes their music....because they probably have a lot of fans cuz its doesnt totally seem christian and thats how they probably witness to a lot of people. i think its aweosme.
