Wow. I may a be somewhat biased cause I grew up with these guys, singing their songs out loud in my the basement of my parents house. I loved and do love these guys so much. Whatever happened to the boy bands?
This song is about heartbreak and this guy just broke up with his girlfriend and he wants to go on like he never knew her, but it's impossible because without her all he is going to be is incomplete.
I know these guys never wrote their own lyrics, but man could they sing the songs like they came from within them. Love these guys always.

This was EXACTLY how I felt when I was in the midst of a divorce from the Love of My Life!
It was just a dark place to be when everything you thought you knew and every fantasy of life is destroyed.
I'm in a much better place now, and I'm dating another incredible and special person. I'm also in very good terms -w- my ex, so I really can't complain.
But... There's always the part inside you that will never be the same, and I still feel very sad when I hear this song.
