Come back, show your face
Don't you see
You're too good for this place
Can we leave.
It's not your fault, what they say
Don't believe..
Or would you rather suffer in silence.
And defeat
Or would you rather suffer in silence
Needlessly
Ah come on, show the way
I'll believe
Welcome back, you've been away
How's it been.
Or would you rather suffer in silence.
And defeat
Or would you rather suffer in silence
Needlessly..
Wake up.. It's your love calling..
Don't you see
You're too good for this place
Can we leave.
It's not your fault, what they say
Don't believe..
Or would you rather suffer in silence.
And defeat
Or would you rather suffer in silence
Needlessly
Ah come on, show the way
I'll believe
Welcome back, you've been away
How's it been.
Or would you rather suffer in silence.
And defeat
Or would you rather suffer in silence
Needlessly..
Wake up.. It's your love calling..

It's about that part inside of all of us that, when faced with tough times, really tough times, just wants to give in, shut away into ourselves, hold our hands up and just say to life "yeah, you've won".
There's redemption and hope at the end of the song though, with the "Wake up, it's your love calling" mantra. And the realisation that as long as we have the ability to love, and receive love, then we can stand up to anything life throws at us.
