My favorite PWT song ever.
Basically saying don't feel sorry for me, probably after a break up.
They're looking at everything in a very negative way, giving up hope on what was ('I always thought I would be so much more'), and not having much hope for the future ('and in the end that's where I'll be').
It refers to the repetativeness that can occur at the end of a relationship, with the same things being said over and over and people just going round in circles ('there's nothing new it's all been done before' 'got nothing to say anymore Originality went out that door'). They feel like they have done everything that they can, and now are just giving up all hope of regaining what they once had, and so just want to be away from everyone, possibly just curl up and vanish ('not finding what I'm looking for so please let me be'). They seem to be feeling very emotionally weak, with little hope of recovery.
