You're lookin' just a little too hard at me
Standin' just a little too close to me,
You're sayin' not quite enough to me,
You're sippin' just a little too slow for me
No doubt you're playing real cool homie
Got me thinking what is it you do for me?
Tripping (tripping) a little more than I should be
So let yourself go and get right with me

[Chorus:]
I'm about to sign you up, we can get right
Before the night is up,
We can get right, we can get right, we can get right,
I'm about to fill you're cup, we can get right,
Before the night is up,
We can get right, tonight, we can get right

You're lips, talking bout I play too much,
Can't a woman take advantage of what she wants,
My hips, moving oh so slow, (so slow)
Bar tab looking like a condo, (condo)
All I need is you here right by my side
Take whatever you want, baby let's ride,
And whatever you won't do, let me decide,
Just put you're name on the dotted line,

[Chorus]

[Bridge:]
So much we've got to say, but so little time,
And if tonight ain't long enough, don't leave love behind,
(don't leave this love behind)
Baby, take my hand, I'll show you why

[Chorus: x2]

I'm about to sign you up, we can get right
Before the night is up,
We can get right, we can get right, we can get right,
I'm about to fill you're cup,
(we can get right,
Before the night is up,
We can get right, we can get right)

General Comment:this site is about your interpretation of the song not whether or not you like the song. not a single one of you haters and likers offered what you think this song means. annoying. It's about being out at a club with your boyfriend and he is acting too cool for school. But it's probably not just at the club that he's "playin it cool," it's probably all the time, that's why she's annoyed. She wants him to loosen up and show her that he has a good time with her. If only he will "let himself go" he could make their relationship right in just one night.

General Comment:I really like this song. It's good to dance to and it always makes me happy. Point is, I've heard more explicit songs. This is flirty but in a good way.

General Comment:I think this song has a lot of rhtyhm......sorry to say this......but I actually do like this song. For one it puts you in a good mood and secondly at least the song ain't whorish in according to my standards. In my opinion it's actually one of her better solos in the hip hop and groove industry nowadays.

General Comment:Though I'm sure it took whatever from an unreleased Usher song, what people need to notice is the striking similarity to Amerie's '1 thing.'

General Comment:It's a club song, a dance song. It doesnt matter if she can sing or not... and while I love her clothes, we all know she's no Alicia Keys. But her music is for dancing purposes only. If it has a club beat... then it;s kosher. It has a club beat, so I'll dance and sing to it when it comes on, but it gives you headache if you listen to it too many times in a row

General Comment:this song takes the beat from an unreleased usher song called "ride", and also uses the lyrics So much we got to say, but so little time
"And if tonight ain't goin' up, don't leave love behind" - it never made it onto confessions so usher sold it to another artist and jlo tnhen decided she wanted to use the beat for this song!

General Comment:I'm not big on J-Lo or this kind of music but I love this because of the catchy beat and sound FX. I reckon it's about a woman being a "player" and proud of it and just wanting to get with some guy at a club and not worry about the relationship stuff.
