    General Comment:So I'm a senior in high school, and over the summer I got set yourself on fire,and have been listening to it non stop. This song actually caused me to make one more try at a chick I've been in love with for the past few years... yeah I love bopping to the bass line, but I was wondering, when he says "sucking freezies in the rain" is he talking about drinking slushies or inhaling free-on? because the inhaling powder from the science class makes me think it's free-on.

    btw me and the girl have been dating since September.Best chance I ever took.

    General Comment:Hmm. I always thought the lyrics were,
    "But when I reach to touch your hand
    You struck my cheek"
    Like, she didn't want him to, or something. That's what it always sounded like to me. But the other way works too.
    It's a great song, either way.

    General Comment:I really appreciate Torquil's ability to be so frank, yet still reach so deeply with his lyrics. I like to think of him as a bizzarro-Mangum..

    This song is maybe the best example of this, that repeated line - "all I want is one more chance to show you you were right for me" - really hits the listener hard, but its so simplistic. Good stuff from a band I'm listening to more and more.

    General Comment:this song to me is about a guy? who goes to his reunion and is remembering all the good times he had at high school

    this is a bold statement one of the main ones i think, about how he wants his high school girlfriend is realise what he has always known

    "All I want is one more chance to be young and wild and free" this could be about how boring and stuffy his live has become since the "glory days" of highschool which contained no responsiblities
