I think this song is about how two people have been in a relationship for a long time, and gone through so much together. It's gone fast and slow at the same time; time doesn't exist anymore. I feel like the song is about a wedding day, some sort of turning point in their lives. He can't keep his eyes off of her. She's all there is in his life. I love this song, it's so beautiful. It's true love.

You guys might think this sounds dumb.. but i think it is about masturbation. you and me is him and his penis. seriously think about it. the clock is refurring to the one on his night stand.. and he is losing so much time cuz he stays home and beats his meat all the time. when he says there is you and me and all these people .. he is saying there is so much stuff i could be doing right now.. but i dont know why.. i cant stop staying home and jacking off. Good meaning to the song first song in a while that i heard that has some truth and deep meaning.

all right, this song...wow. the lyrics in it are so amazing. to me, it means that the guy is so in love with the girl he's with, he can't even keep track of the time they spend together. it's awesome. i've heard it on a lot of tv shows, and am just WAITING to see it in a really romantic part in a movie theatre movie. hopefully, if my book becomes a movie, it'll be in it!!! i love this song...on repeat...geez. it's brilliant. Lifehouse is one of my favorite bands. love em, love the song.

whenever we get together we lose all track of time and sometimes we say stupid things just because we are so caught up in each other that we cant even think straight!

LOVE THIS SONG! I think it's pretty self-explanatory. When you're with that person, you don't care what else is goin on around you. It's just you and them and no one else understands that love but you two. You don't have to explain anything to each other, you can just look at each other and know what's up. Time doesn't exist, no one else matters,and everything's all right.

Reminds me immesnly fo my friend, we like each other but can't be together because of distance. When I first heard the song the first line is what struck me, What Day Is It And In What Month, reminded me of him so much cause we can chat via the interweb for 12 hours straight without realising the time :)

ok so long story short me and you can say my boyfriend met online in this chat room thing. hes in maine and i in chicago =(. so that sucks, but its our 4 month anniversary comin up and we were txtin and he randomly said i learned the first part of this song. i looked it up cause i dint know it. right when it started the melody i immediately knew the song and started tearing up =). its just one of those things where just one sort of gesture can make your life if that makes any sense...

This just makes me think of a guy who all of a sudden sees a girl that's a friend as so much more. He doesn't know why or how to explain it, but he can't get her off of his mind now. Everything about her is beauty to him, and he just can't quite figure her out, so he doesn't know how to tell her what he is feeling.
