shoes crack where you walk,
settle down.
inside, outside. amazing
cut it back.
get in some clean fesh air.

acute angles divide my path that i had lost, path that i had lost

tongue tied. couldn't talk.
settle down.
inside, outside. amazing.
haven't lost. haven't cured at all.

acute angles divide my path that i had lost, path that i had lost

and when you see a boat come
in a straight line,
you know it's going straight down.
and then you feel like a flower sender.
lender, like you (i close my eyes)
nothing to see here.

cloud tank given off.
watered down.
stick side outside,
the razing.
wasn't cool, wasn't fair at all.

acute angles divide my path that i had lost, path that i had lost
(i close my eyes)

and when you see the big crack in the sunlight.
you know it's over somehow.
and then a pinhole sky expodes out,
ball of fire.
supernova falls down on you.
(i close my eyes)
(nothing to see here)

General Comment:For myself, this song is about my experience with paranoid delusions. The incredible uncertainty it creates for the difference between the inside and outside, outside being the common experience of most other people with which you just can't always relate.

"Inside, outside, amazing:" The figurative and literal isolation of being sealed inside your own head/realized but not understood need to reduce intro-experience and learn a sort of elusive common sense. "cut it back. get in some clean fresh air. settle down." and the related denial that it's a temporary sullen and natural self-obsessive melancholy state instead of a reality separation. "haven't lost. haven't cured at all."

where each attempt to go outside remembers failures. causes difficulty and anxiety communicating with others. "Tongue tied, couldn't talk" The fear, loathing, and awe of the outside.

"stick side outside, the razing. wasn't cool, wasn't fair at all." paranoid feelings, all others seem in collaboration to edge you out of the competition for something they all want.

"and when you see the big crack in the sunlight. you know it's over somehow." the experience becomes surreal. some acceptance that you are not like other people, whether it be a full embrace of the delusion or the humiliating experience of treatment.

General Comment:acute angles- less than 90 degrees, close to each other, maybe reflecting on the small choices that made such a big difference in his life

    the song sounds like clockwork

General Comment:I agree with Kerze somewhat, definitely there is someone that is making him have these reactions "tongue-tied, couldn't talk. settle down" and obviously they are pretty amazing to him both "inside" and "outside". They're effecting him so much that it's all he can think about, but he's lost at sea and can't get back to her. ie- instead of being a straight line, it's full of acute angles and turns--this is an obvious reference to sailing, and how you tack and jib, you don't just sail straight, you're always making acute angles and turns, which he is doing, eventhough he's lost his path. see the comparison when he says "and when you see a boat come
    in a straight line,
you know it's going straight down."
I think the whole flower sender part is thinking about this person while he's at sea, and then closing his eyes bc there's nothing to see there, but when he closes his eyes he can see her. and all the cloud and sun references are to the weather, the stormy seas and then calm again when the storm is over, but he's still just thinking of her instead of where he's going--this may be figurative that he's like a boat lost at sea with her bc he can only think of her but can't think of where they're going or coming from.

    General Comment:here's my take:
boy likes girl -girl approaches -boy gets nervous -she's so...amazing -need air -tongue tied -what was the boy going to say to her? he lost his path...-girls that approach him are boats in a straight line but he's going to mess it up and feel bad for it afterwards -he gets frustrated and shows other people his bad side -is not cool nor fair... something like that
