I'm in no way insinuating this is perfect but holy crap, the word fellate is sort of important in this song. this song isn't about Bush, it's about the state of the society that supports Bush.

I think it's funny how oblivious someone could be and not even realize that they are the ones being insulted for voting for Bush.
It amazes me how stupid and blind you are to not even comprehend the lyrics.
Bush is a great example of a politician. He cares more about saving face than others. You're just another one of his pawns, doing as your told, blindly believing in whatever he says. Grow a spine and start thinking for yourself.

This goes way beyond politics.
There really is no way to explain all of this is a little comment, its far to deep.
But if you are interested in seeing the real "truth", then i can help you out.
This movie is called Zeitgeist, it is a real mind-opener.
But it is also almost two hours long, so have free time.
But only watch this if you can take a few of your lifelong beliefs be proven wrong in a few minutes.
So basically if you have overwhelming pride in your beliefs, this movie will go in one ear and out the other and just plain piss you off.

I came out of Christianity when I was about 35 or so (after "serving Christ" for nearly 20 years). I heard this song and it touched me.

That is how I felt. It's amazing that this song, line by line, can describe as clear as day how I felt that I was wronged by Jesus. That the whole thing was a lie.
NOW, with that said. It is a song about Bush (not Jesus). A great song, none the less.

Max: I don’t know. I mean a lot of the songs I write are about the political climate or the social-political climate more so. I guess that’s the only one that’s directly about him. I can’t think right now but I feel that I’ve written other songs about it. It’s obviously something I’d be open to writing about again.
