I've spent my whole life surrounded
and I've spent my whole life alone
I wonder why I never wonder why
The easiest things are so hard
I just want, I just want love
I just want, I just want love
I just want, I just want love
I just want something
Something for nothing
Something, something for nothing

I'm a beggar and I'm a chooser
I'm accused, I'm an accuser
But nothing's unconditional

I hold the whole world accused
I've only got myself to blame
I wonder why, I never wonder why
The easiest things are so hard

I just want, I just want love
I just want, I just want love
I just want, I just want love
I just want something
Something for nothing
Something, something for nothing

I just want, I just want love
I just want, I just want love
I just want, I just want love
I just want something
Something for nothing
Something, something for nothing

I'm a beggar and I'm a chooser
I'm accused, I'm an accuser
But nothing's unconditional

General Comment:just make you want to throw yourself and let everything come to you, someone who will give everything for that emotional feeling of love.

General Comment:the first time i herd this song it sownded to me lyk hes found a girl and hes just using her for sex :S that cud be just the way im hearing it but if u think about it it makes sense. 'i just something for nothing' is like sex but no strings attatched

General Comment:what i think he's trying to saying is that he has all these people around him who try to get to him but he hasn't really bonded with them at all therefore spending his life alone.
and it's kind of obvious that this song is pretty straight forward but maybe that's what he's getting at. he's tried to be clever and witty but it's never worked so he's just desperate now. so instead of trying to hide his affections he's just leaving them there out in the open. anyway that's all folks.

General Comment:oh and that ekizzle kid is dumb. He says they have no talent, then goes on to say he doesn't either. Am I wrong to think that someone with no talent should not be judging people who do?

General Comment:Yeah it was THAW, that's where I found this band, Tony Hawk games always open my eyes to good taste, like Death From Above 1979 and The Faint....oooooooh. I love this song though. Whenever I hear the synth intro, this sensation just surges through me. It's a magical feeling. What a great song. And I'm not gonna try to decipher it because I suck at that kind of stuff.

General Comment:This song brings back alot of memories for me. I love Honest Mistake, but when they played this song on the radio, it was as if they were singing it for me...I can DEFINITELY relate to the lyrics. Their BEST song in my opinion...
